I love the Geek Squad and I love the protection plans. Unfortunately I’ve had to use the plans over the years and I’ve never been disappointed in the repairs or replacements.

I got this with my mom's Samsung TV and there was a dark cloud spot on the screen. Samsung refused to fix it it. They said it was "tolerable for them." I called Best Buy and emailed them the pictures. They told me to bring the TV in and they exchanged it.

Excellent cover to have should the worst happen and a must for all the electronice here in this house. If we buy anything new, it will always be bought with a Geek Squad Protection Plan.

The policy goes into effect after one year of purchase. Sometimes dealing with Sony or lg isn’t the best experience. Depending on how big your tv is you might value the in home service.
