I have not used the Geek Squad yet, however, it gives me a peace of mind to know I have hands on assistance troubleshooting and/or options for repair if needed. My sister has had a good experience with the Geek Squad which helped me make the decision to purchase the protection plan.

I bought this service plan to protect my new OLED TV. I don't expect to use it but if the TV shoulde break withhin 5 years Best buy will repair or replace it. It is my understanding that because the TV was mounted by Geek Squad, that service under this plan will include mounting.

My original purchase was on a ROKU tv, which i opted out of protection About 6 weeks later my BRAND NEW tv screen went all scrambled. i panicked being out of the 30 day return window. However when i called the store the gentleman gave me no hassle and allowed me to return TV. While there he talked me and my boyfriend in to buying a better bigger tv. he informed us of all the benifits that come along with the protection plan so we purchased that as well. so far have not had to use on the new TV but nice having peice of mind if anything goes wrong

Strongly recommend this if you are purchasing an oled tv. I recently had to use mine for burn in on an oled tv. Best Buy took care of it with no issue.

Love purchasing yheir insurance. Always feel like I'm in good hands in case of an accident.

I haven’t had to use this yet but I’m hoping it’s as great as the TV is. I’ve had this kind of protection for a laptop and it was very good.

If you buy a television or anything over 200 bucks I would definitely recommend getting a protection plan because without it. It's like throwing your money out the window, there are so many different manufacturers making products now you just don't know if your product will be any good or last. So I definitely recommend getting a protection plan.

I think it's important to get the protection plan. The first time I used it was for my dyson cordless vacuum. I got a completely new one because it could not be fixed in the store. But of course for the new one you would have to purchase a new protection plan. I've also purchased it for a TV but since it was my son who threw something at the TV (accidentally) and the screen looked chatterd it definitely was not covered. All I could get back was the protection plan money because it was still under the year I purchased it on.

I was lucky to have purchased the insurance for my tv, otherwise I’d would have had to spend money on a new tv, but after a simple call and an coming to my home I was given clear understanding or what to expect, and given a new tv within a couple days

Great price and excellent picture. The 4k channels are amazing. I purchased the 5 year warranty at a reasonable price. I’ve used these warranties from Best Buy in the past and TV was replaced.
