I'm finally writing a review for this tv. I had a thunderstorm about a few months after purchase and the quality of the tv hasn't been the same. I reached out to best buy to come fix my tv and just like most of you said, I had to contact Hisense to come out. because of the Manufacture first year warranty. Three tv specialist have been to my home and nothing has changed. The picture isn't sharp/clear at all anymore. I was told that I have to deal with this tv until after the one-year warranty is over. I couldn't believe I had to wait this long to enjoy my tv. Withing this timeframe I went back to best buy and brought another 85-inch tv which I'm happy with. I agree with one of you said, why did I pay for a 5-year warranty when it really a 4-year warranty? My one year is coming up, and I hope best buy can take care of their loyal customers. But I wouldn't recommend this tv for anyone. The worst tv I ever brought.

Although we've not had any problems with our TV since it's still new, it gives us a peace of mind to have the Geek Squad Protection at reasonable price, just in case.

After two episodes where someone scammed my computer, I purchased the security from the Geek Squad. So far, so good.

Not a big fan of buying warranties but have wished I did recently with a Samsung tv. In that case it would have paid.

Very knowledgeable folks work for Best Buy. Haven't had to use the warranty yet, but great price for a piece of mind.
