Great protection, but read the fine print, there is alot of ways they can get out of covering your items

The Geek Squad Protection Plan is great! I had a different 65" tv thar had a problem with the screen. After just under a year, the screen went completely grey. I had the Geek Squad come and check the tv out. First they changed the PC board but that did not help. Next I got to exchange it for a new 65" tv. The process was fairly easy. The person that I spoke with on the phone to help me with the exchange was so nice and very helpful. She let me know my choices of tv's and put through my order. The new tv arrived in just a few days. I purchased a new 5 year plan also.

So we got this after debating several monitor choices for our new PC, and I'm so glad I decided to grab this. It's great for gaming, okay for office work, incredible for watching shows and movies. It's only 42 inches, which is small for me for movies, but the quality is out of this world. I usually go for soundbars/speakers right away but I found the built in speakers to be manageable for now. Love it!

For all my tvs over 40 inches, I always invest in a warranty. So far the warranty has been a life saver. I love the fact that Geek squad will repair tv 40 inches and over in home. They will 1st troubleshoot with you. If problem still persist. They will order parts to your home. They will come and work on tv at home. If they can't fix tv, they will offer you another tv. If tv is not available, they will upgrade you to next available one.

I usually get a warranty with every electronic I purchase. I had issues with a television that I had purchased. I called Bestbuy and was told that I had Geeksquad and my warranty was through them. It took a few visits, but they ended up replacing basically the whole tv just about. Less than a year later, it did the same thing and Bestbuy refunded about 90% of the amount I paid for tv to put towards another tv, so I went bigger. I am glad I purchased warranty or I would have just had to purchase new tv.

I love the Geek Squad because they have always been so professional and bend over backwards to satisfy their customers. They have always treated me well. Today 09/20/2021 I went in to get a TV repaired that was almost brand new and they made the transaction so easy and aloud me to exchange it for a brand new one. This is why I have never ever purchased somewhere else even if the product I want is cheaper. I have literally spent thousands of dollars over the years at Best Buy and I always walk away knowing if anything goes wrong they will fix it. Always purchase the extra Geek Squad warranty it is well worth it and you will have no problems if your item stops working.

I am loyal to Samsung TVs never had an issue until this tv made a pop noise and went out. The motherboard was out of stock since this size is no longer sold and BB Geek Squad replaced it. I like the Geek Squad but had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment and another week for an ordered part that was cancelled just to replace the unit. I will not be purchasing the warranty on the new unit due to this, as I have additional insurance for all electronics in my home. Do better Geek Squad!

Very easy to use website and product variety was excellent. Prices were extremely competitive and offered price points that fit into my budget. Overall great experience.

My TV I purchased gave me fateful service for five years. I was one month away from my BB protection plan expiring when I began to experience dead pixels across half of the TV's screen. I contacted Geek Squad by phone and they coordinated to have a new TV sent out ASAP. Received the new unit within five days. And they hauled the old one away for me too. As long as this new TV lasts me another five years, I'll be set!

I haven't use the geek squad recently but, in the past they never disappointed me and I'm sure they will not let me down if I needed them again.

I bought the 5 year protection as my last Insignia stopped working in the 4th year, which was disappointing. If this happens the same way with the new TV within 5 years, I would expect BEST BUY to replace it . Ideally it would continue to work longer, but if it doesn’t, I will not be left holding the bag with nothing.

I would most definitely recommend this!! It’s great to have insurance
