This is a little tricky and almost sneaky. If you buy some thing on the website, you have the option of adding a five-year geek squad plan. Nobody tells you that when you’re in the store and you buy a Samsung item. You are only allowed to get Samsung care as your warranty. It is one year less and $10 more. God help you if you try to cancel it and buy the other warranty. You will be on the phone for 13 hours like I was.

Even if something happens during the 1 year warranty, you never have to deal with your TV manufacturer support because they always suck. Best Buy is amazing with their support. My experience might be unique but they come out to look at my TV, determined what was needed to fix. They didn't need to replicate it, but I had recorded a video of the issue. A day after my service call, they tell me they can't get the part in a timely manner so they offer me a gift card for what I paid towards a new TV. Of course I ended up with a more expensive set and re-bought the warranty so I ended up having to buy a new TV, but I much rather would have spent the $400 than losing out on $1600 for a TV that was just 14 months old.

Customer service is phenomenal. The tv is perfectly set up. Highly recommend.

I love the geek squad protection if there’s ever any issues you bring it they fix it or replace it

I’ve been getting service plans with Best Buy since the PS2 days. Never once has one not come in handy. They’re a must for me with high end purchases.

Just purchased this service but it gives me comfort if something should happen and i have the Geek Squad.

I have used the Geek Squad in the past, and they have been very helpful. Knowing that you have someone to call when something happens to your product is a relief.

Went in to replace my tv that went Black Death screen and the process was easy to do, even bought a 2 year warranty

We bought a Roku 65” TV plus the 5 yr Geek Squad coverage. We have used Geek Squad in the past on our computer and they fixed it plus retrieved my photos. I highly recommend Geek Squad

Hope to not need to use it, but peace of mind knowing I have protection in the event I do. I have used GS protection in the past and it was well worth the small up front cost.

Every time I buy a big item I buy it with the 5-year protection plan I haven't regretted it yet Best buy has honor the deal and I protected my family

I’ve had extremely good luck with extended warranties. I’ve gotten a replacement for every item I purchased the plan for! The one TV I didn’t get one for, just burned me! It was a top of the line Sony and the repair estimate was $10,000.00!!! Buy the warranty. It’s worth every penny.

Definitely worth getting for any tv no matter where you buy it

Had this on my last TV, it began having issues just before plan expired so I got lucky. BB kept trying to repair it but then something else came up. I was kind of ticked off as it was costing more to keep trying useless repairs. Finally after over 3 months of failed attempts they called it a wash. I took the full credit and upgraded to a better set. It was a pain but in the end they apologized when they reveiwed my purchase history. I got another 5 year plan for the new TV.

I have not use it and I hope I wont use it but I read that they are great.
