Complaint Regarding Order Cancellation and Delivery Handling

I got this for a TV that actually warranties their TVs for 3 years. That manufacture being LG. So the price you pay for what you get is just not worth it it's not even an extended warranty. GEEK Squad warranties run concurrent with the manufacturer warranty. So you literally have two insurances and paying a high price for one of them. Maybe on a one-year it would be worth it. But the price you're paying is crazy compared to what you get.. it would be worth it if it actually kicked in after your manufacturer warranty what's up

I took the 5 year protection plan for peace of mind knowing my kids watch a lot and I would get the Tech help as needed

I have not had to use the geek squad, so I honestly can not review their services. I purchased the service as a preventive future measure which I hope to have but never need.

I'm sure it's good but never got to use it until it was expired and now I'm not going to renew it!

We were told in the store that Geek squad would come out to repair or replace and we would not have to deal with the manufacturer. When we called for service because the television would not power on we had to talk with someone in South America. We were transfered several times and told they would not come out and we would have to call Samsung. We then went into the store to see a manager and were told we would have to call Samsung. What a waste of $500

My washer still leaks at time and takes longer to spin out but always run test with a empty load that a proper

Got Geek Squad 2 yr agreement for a refurbished laptop that was a great price. Hope I never need to use it since it would suck needing to turn my computer over for a week or more.

I got this tv because it was on very good price got it delivered graphics looks pretty awesome happy with my purchase

Anymore when you buy a smart TV if you don’t get the Best Buy extended warranty it’s really a hassle to get it worked on if anything happens to it my opinion you’re stuck in a trap if you don’t buy it at Best Buy won’t help you and you have to send it back to the manufacture yourself at your cost my rule is if anything cost over $500 I’ll go ahead and get the warning if not I’ll just replace it so recommending thisFor recommending this to someone who would be either yes or no depending on how much you spent

This is a wast protection for the TV. We can basically get the TV assembled and installed ourselves. If your TV has any problem this protection plan just allows you to drop off your TV at a Best Buy but doesn't instantly replaces it with another TV unlike all other protection plans. This plan requires to send the TV to manufacturing facility of the provider and gets it repaired which can usually take about 6-8 weeks. Until that time you will not have a TV :(

Geek Squad protection - when needed - is really helpful. But the question is whether it is worth the initial cost. I think so but it might depend on the product.

Got it for a tv. Not worth it imo. These things hardly fail unless you have wild children

A complete waste of my time and money.I would dis January 6, 2018 KOSTI from WORCESTER I processed Samsung - 50" Class (49.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV and i payed for 2 year protection plan Geek Squad from Best Buy.In the mean time that the TV was under the warranty in the screen appeared a black dot and after some days vertical multicolored lines.I notified the team of Geek Squad immediately and the specialist that come home didn't identified any exterior physical damage ,absolutely nothing,that it's true.Only by the phone another technician said maybe it's a crack MAYBE ????????The answer from Geek Squad is we do not cover .There was in fact no physical damage to the device and geek squad was very unhelpful.I spent money for coverage and i got nothing out of it. A complete waste of my time and money.I would discourage everyone from purchasing protection under geek squad!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was expensive and not well explained when purchased. Disappointed since thought I would have different cover from what we got in the end. Pity the sales people were not more informative. Glad to have it though just in case something goes wrong with tv since it is an expensive model. Guys who set up were okay but expected better service and more information. Wish we had bought more items together at same time as only one installation is covered. Ask more questions so you are better informed before purchasing!

So far I haven't used the warranty for my tv but much like any insurance you never know when it might come in handy. It is good knowing that such a valuable product is protected for two years in case of something happening.

Got a full refund (Bestbuy Gift card) for TV that went out after 3 years of ownership because Best Buy refused to repair or replace the TV. Unfortunately can't replace the TV for the cost I paid in 2019 (Paid $250 with $100 off, new TV will be $400+$80 for another 5 year protection plan). Still don't regret buying this plan but still feels like I got bent over the barrel in the end.
