Did not use geek squad for my tv install but have used them before for computer problems. Great service with very knowledgeable agents.

I bought the 5 year protection plan and hope I never have to use it for my Sony tv but just in case the geek squad protection plan is as good as it gets from Best Buy.

Geek Squad is great, making an appt is not easy and it was canceled twice, there is no way to just get a new appt time, also language barrier is a problem. But actual techs were prompt, knowledgeable, helpful, thanks to Paul and company!

It’s always nice to have a back up plan for your investment!!

While we haven't had to use the service, it's good to have the reassurance that our new TV is protected. The cost is worth the piece of mind

Purchased a new TV. After 1 year, it had problems. Took it in to the nearest BestBuy and the had it fixed and ready for pick-up within the time they quoted on repair. Very happy with the service! They made sure everything was taken care of and the TV was working as if it were brand new.

When you consider that any television over 50" must be serviced in the house (can't be returned to the store for service). This 5 year warrantee for $50 was an easy purchase.

Good piece of mind purchase. My parents used this service on failed tv and had no issues whats so ever.

Geek squad does do a great job at repairs. However trying to get ahold of someone and get something lined up is impossible at times. As long as you are patient they are a great addition to your purchase

The geek squad protection is something that is a must for an expensive appliance. I brought one for my sony tv and it crapped out in 1 year and they gave me my money back. I am going to buy it again. Deciding if i will buy another sony...
