got the warranty and didnt use it, but have used similar before and it works very well. Only wished warranty when used we dont have to pay again to "renew" the warranty

Have yet to need the service of the geek squad. I am confident that when I do need the service I will not be disappointed.

Geek Squad was really helpful when I had a minor issue with my TV. They fixed it right away and explained what they were doing so I learned a few things along the way!

The agent was able to remotely install the drivers for my printer on my pc. They were supposed to be installed with the original purchase, so kind of a net net zero.

Geek squad protection is a must have for electronics especially if you have kids! A lot of their plans cover accidental damage etc...You will have peace of mind so I recommend you get it if you find value in it!

Geek squad did a great job on my computer we use for our business. We had some issues with it but they got it out pretty quick and back into business quickly.

I always buy the protection plan. I just wish all of the best buy employees knew what it was. Got different stories from different people. Had a hard time returning tv even with the warrenty. Got the run around.

We purchased a new TV and added the Geek Squad protection in case of future repairs. Hoping we won’t need to use the service but if we do I hope they provide the best service.

I'm finally writing a review for this tv. I had a thunderstorm about a few months after purchase and the quality of the tv hasn't been the same. I reached out to best buy to come fix my tv and just like most of you said, I had to contact Hisense to come out. because of the Manufacture first year warranty. Three tv specialist have been to my home and nothing has changed. The picture isn't sharp/clear at all anymore. I was told that I have to deal with this tv until after the one-year warranty is over. I couldn't believe I had to wait this long to enjoy my tv. Withing this timeframe I went back to best buy and brought another 85-inch tv which I'm happy with. I agree with one of you said, why did I pay for a 5-year warranty when it really a 4-year warranty? My one year is coming up, and I hope best buy can take care of their loyal customers. But I wouldn't recommend this tv for anyone. The worst tv I ever brought.

Whenever we make a major purchase for electronics, we always get the Geek Squad Protection warranty. In the past, this has always been a good decision. They have even given me assistance in setting up a computer with extra software I bought.
