Bought protection plan when I bought the TV. Within 6 months, power surge fried the HDMI port, even with grade A surge protector. Called for service and was back up and running within a week. Beats having to go shell out the $$ for another TV.

A must have with any product over $50. I never but anything without getting the extra warranty for it. Geek squad is most definitely the best extra warranty you can get.

i think the price for these things is not bad, ive never had to have a tv fixed under one of these services so i dont know how slow it goes or how much of a pain it is if you actually need to have something fixed.

The Guys mounted the tv to my wall, leaving everything in its original place! Remained in contact with me about any changes! Awesome customer service!

You can't go wrong with Geek Squad Protection, such a small price for a piece of mind, whenever I purchase anything big from Best Buy I always go for the added protection plan.
