The 2-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection is a very important addition to any appliance or electronic purchase you make at Best Buy. It gives you the added confidence that should any problem arise with the item, you know that the Best But Geek Squad team is there to assist & rectify any problem with your product. It is a very good addition to any purchase you make both for yourself or for items purchased as gifts.

The TV was good until it wasn’t. Everything was great and the clarity was amazing until right around the time the geek squad protection plan expired. A little over two years the clarity is horrible and liked shows here and there thought out the sceeen. What looks like white lines are not apart of the show as this is how is shows up

I feel the folks at Geek Squad are patient, kind, and professional whether I contact them day or night. Most of the time we get the issue resolved online. There has been only 2 times where they said I needed to bring it in to the store. I believe it has been worth the fee because I live in a rural area and it is a 30 mile drive from my town to my Best Buy store.

I had an issue with a defective product and after a lengthy discussion with customer support to prove that is was a product defect and nothing I did, my new product was delivered and installed 2 days later with the defective one hauled away. Had the customer service end of things been smoother, my rating would be higher, but overall i was glad I bought the protection and was very happy with how everything was handled once my claim was approved.

Haven't need this so far but I get it just incase my games have issues.

The performance is outstanding overall. The color rendering is flawless, and the motion interpolation works exceptionally well. I highly recommend this for a living room or bedroom with minimal windows or limited direct sunlight for the best viewing experience.

I bought the 5-year protection plan for my TV and boy am I glad I did it Best buy's been honorable and keeping the terms and conditions and replace my broken TV I was a hero for my family

For the price is worth it take care of youre purchase since manufacturing only provides a 1 year guarantee

Got for my TV and haven’t had to use it but it is nice to have peace of mind that if something goes wrong it will be covered

Always go with the Squad! Otherwise here in Hawaii it’s nearly impossible to find anyone capable or willing to fix your electronics for less than what you paid brand new!

Diagnosed and fixed the issue in about 10-14 days. Much better than using manufacturer. It's about the people, so a big thanks to the technicians. If BB didn't have this, I would buy from another online retailer.

THIS IS NOT A GEEK SQUAD REVIEW!!! THEY DID NOT INSTALL. After I found where the A/C in was (never even addressed in the install sheet), the TV has a great picture and almost everything seems to work just fine. The extras are super. The only negative thing is that (unless there is more hidden information) when I plug in the "Audio Out" to another device, it bypasses the TV's sound. I didn't downgrade the rating, but if not something I can fix, doesn't detract form the overall score for the unit.

Geek Squad 2-year plan is a lifesaver! Quick laptop fix, professional techs, and peace of mind with coverage. Worth every penny for my devices!

Added this to help my mom out. Super cool that tvs over 45 inches, they come to you. So you don’t have to lug around the tv

The 2-year Geek Squad protection plan is worth it for major purchases. It’s affordable and provides excellent support for repairs or replacements. Their customer service is quick and reliable.

This is a little tricky and almost sneaky. If you buy some thing on the website, you have the option of adding a five-year geek squad plan. Nobody tells you that when you’re in the store and you buy a Samsung item. You are only allowed to get Samsung care as your warranty. It is one year less and $10 more. God help you if you try to cancel it and buy the other warranty. You will be on the phone for 13 hours like I was.

I had the Geek Squad warranty. I had an issue i made the call to them with in 2 days they came by diagnosed the problem as a bad mother board . I was told the geek squad service would replace it at no cost . They contacted me within a day & schuled an exchange day . It took about 6 days from start to finish they picked up & delivered the new . All in all its worth it .
