Worth it! Their services have assisted me in the past with Apple products and any questions I had.

I've used Geek Squad twice. The first time they repaired my television on site (my home), the technicians both times brought their own folding tables and cloths to my residence, the second time the parts were no longer available so the technician had Best Buy credit me for a replacement Television. I highly recommend this service. I just bought a 50" bedroom TV (Dec 12, 2023), and guess what I added on as a Just In Case...Geek Squad coverage! My thanks and respect to all of the unsung technicians that Best Buy utilizes to make their warranty incredible.

My television died and this warranty bought the newer version of my latest television. You must get the warranty from BB with their products!

I've never used the Geek Squad I'm guessing they know what they're doing and they're probably pretty cool

Geek Squad was very helpful in-store helping me find what I needed. I ended up taking their advice and went with the 65 inch Q750G and I love it!

Purchased for a new Sony TV. Why? My view is the technology has advanced far enough for "fixed location" electronic items, especially TV/Video displays that the manufacturers should include at least 5 year warranty other than accidental damage. They don't. Best Buy through the Geek Squad gives you what manufactures should; extended warranty. Knowing I'm covered for failure of the product and don't have to lug it back to the store is "sleep insurance." Haven't had to use it on the Sony, but a laptop I bought, we south on me under the Geek Squad warranty and the replacement was no hassle. Even got a slightly newer model of the same product (Lenovo) as my model wasn't available. No hassle. I know some have complained about Geek Squad service, but my view is it's a local issue, not one of the program, and I've never had an issue with level of service with my chosen store (I have 3 I can get to in about the same time).

The Geek Squad is the only way to go. So helpful you really need to purchase the protection. My last TV died at only one year old. I received full credit on my purchase price. Don't leave the store without it :)

I have not had to use the Geek Squad for this product but you need to have the ability if you need them.

When I bought a plasma tv about nine years ago I bought a five year plan because I knew the plasma tvs where going away and couldn't get it repaired. In four years the plasma screen did indeed go on us and Best Buy replaced it with a Sony LED 4K. I bouht a new five year plan and in three years this tv screen had problems. And sure enough this TV was discontinued so they couldn't get parts. So they replaced it with a new Sony TV. So I bought my third five year plan. Worth every penny.

Best Buy did well helping me get a replacement for my Samsung 65" TV. They gave me about $450 for my old TV which really helped me be able to get a high quality new one. The warranty was well worth was it cost me to purchase.

I had a 5 year Geek Squad warranty on my Samsung tv which was a good thing since it quit after 4 years. Best Buy sent a Geek out to my house to check it out and he determined that It was best to replace it. So they gave me a number to call and it was fairly easy for them to exchange it. Just be aware that what they replace it with might not be as good as your tv. They gave me a model that was horrible so I had to go to the store and check them out to see which one I liked. The sales guy helped us and we chose a different brand and went home and called the number and they replaced it over the phone and now will deliver it and exchange the other one. So definitely get the warranty. It's so worth it.

Having a five year warranty on any electronics these days is a very smart decision. It’s well worth the money because of the product has issues before five years is up. It’s gonna cost you a lot more money to fix it. I would highly recommend getting the five year warranty it has worked well for us.

I highly recommend adding Geek Squad when buying from Best Buy. They set everything up quickly, answered all my questions, and made sure everything worked perfectly. Super friendly and professional—well worth it for the extra support and protection!

I would highly recommend purchasing the geek squad protection. Especially when purchasing open box products. Any issues you have with the product they will take care of with no hassle

Electronics are so expensive and more defective nowadays, you'd be crazy not to get the warranty.

The agent did some troubleshooting to get my surround sound system back working correctly. He was knowledgable and showed and explained everything he was doing in simple terms.
