    Other stores would offer warranty but for $100 and some change we got the 5 year warranty couldn't resist a offer like that

    I wish I can give 0 stars. The worst experience I’ve EVER experienced with Best Buy and I always have them install stuff. The one guy was EXTREMELY RUDE!!! He didn’t do anything I put in my order and kept saying it wasn’t there. Then they didn’t even finish setting up my tv. If this the type of people they have working with them now I won’t be coming back! From the start to the end the man was Rude, rude, rude!!!! I asked for the cord to be hidden in the order, he said it wasn’t in there (in a snarky tone). I asked for the old tv to be relocated in the order. He said oh no I’ll have to charge you (again in a rude tone). He left without setting the tv up, but honestly I didn’t want his negative rude self in my house any longer anyways. Never again!!!

    The agents were top notch. They arrived early, installed the mounting bracket beautifully and installed our new 85" tv. They reconnected all associated components. They were friendly and professional, cleaned up all packing materials, and reviewed all applicable operating instructions. These folks are awesome.

    Get the extended warranty

    I buy extended warranties on every electronics device and appliance I've purchase at Best Buy. Several years ago I bought a desktop gaming computer for my son for Christmas along with the extended warranty. He didn't take very good care of it and his mother helped things along when she dropped it and all the glass broke. In the third year of the three year warranty, I returned the thing for repair. Whatever part was needed was no longer available so Best Buy gave me a complete refund. I couldn't believe it! But I am now a believer in their extended warranty program.

    The Geek Squad Protection saved my sanity after a major hardware failure, I brought my HP computer in to the local Geek Squad office for evaluation and repair. The agent exceeded my expectations and got the thing working again in a few short days. The Geek Squad also brought a laptop back to life. I consider the protection plan a good investment, both in overall cost savings for repairs, but reducing my aggravation with something fails.

    This is the second TV I’ve bought at Best Buy in the last 12 years. Both TVs I got the extended warranty the first TV I didn’t have to use it until almost 5 years and they fixed my TV fast and easy. This time the TV only made it two years but they could not fix it so they refunded me the price of the TV and I got to do one awesome deal This time the TV only made it two years but they could not fix it so they refunded me the price of the TV and I got to do one awesome deal

    Best Buy and Geek Squad have ALWAYS given me the best of care and service when it comes to their Protection Plans. Any time I have every had an issue with an item that was under warranty they quickly took action to fix my issue, whether it was to repair the item back to fully working condition or replacing the item promptly if it could not be fixed. Best Buy has always handled the situation to my fullest satisfaction. That is why I tell anyone who asks, my first choice will always be to get my electronics from Best Buy because of their Protection Plan!!!

    Warranty for TV

    hopefully i never have to use the warranty. Bought it for LG OLED CX 55" TV. My first OLED, B6P 55" had burn in right before 3 years. Amazon's crappy warranty would not do anything about it. LG ended up replacing the panel for free under the 3 year manufacture warranty. the CX model is 4 years newer and has better burn in retention prevention. If it burns in before 5 years, the warranty should cover fixing or replacement of the tv.

    The warranty saved me o this purchase and helped offset the cost of an upgrade later. 5 year warranty was money well spent.

    Four years into the plan our 65" TV was having issues. The part was going to cost more than replacing the tv so we were given the option of a replacement or store credit for the amount we paid four years ago. We also had the option of buying a new protection plan for the new tv. Geek Squad phone support was very easy to work with getting this set up. We'd definitely recommend this!

    I ALWAYS buy warranties for my purchases. When my T.V. , I bought at BEST BUY , suddenly broke down , I called them, and an Agent from the GEEK SQUAD came to my home, diagnosed the problem AND told me I was TOTALLY covered!! He helped me understand the warranty and I was able to get a NEW T.V. to replace the defective one. Then of course I got another 5 year standard GEEK SQUAD Waranty!! I'd give 10 Stars if I could!! The agent was Polite Professional and Knowledgeable!! I highly recommend getting Warranties and using the GEEK SQUAD!! Thank You BEST BUY and The GEEK SQUAD!!
