I have not had to use the plan yet. I felt it was better to be safe than sorry.

I will no longer shop at best buy for any technological need, cpu, phone, tablet, or television. As they specifically lie about your warranty coverage. I purchased a 5yr additional coverge warranty and asked at time of purchase if accidental damage would be covered such as a screen crack in moving the tv from one point to another. I was told it would be covered and if it could not be repaired it would be replaced. Not So. the very thing happened, tv screen was cracked during moving from a table top to a wall mount and after calling and speaking again with an agent i was told accidental damage was covered. Set appointment (which was 2 1/2 weeks from incident) for tech to look at. Day of appointment today 11/23/2022 tech calls and says i see your screen is cracked, that is not covered and instead of wasting trip to see he would not be out. So apparently they hook you for the warranty to increase the store profits and cover only what manufacturer would cover just for additional time after manufacturer warranty expires which is also a hose job because you lose a year of coverage because it starts at time of purchase when Manufacturer covers at least the first year. Im sorry but will never shop Best Buy again.

I feel confident knowing that the TV I gave as a gift has a reliable warranty.

Protect your investment worth to buy a warranty 1/10 of the price of your item

Hopefully will never have to use it but for the price, better to be safe

We have it, fortunately we haven't had to use it for any of our products

Always get the extended protection plan especially for a television

We have not got issues to utilize Geek squad for this product yet.

Let's hope I don't have to use this...but if I do then I will be happy I got it!

Gotta love Geek Squad, they make a painful process a lot more bearable.

Apparently I purchased this with a TV, but it does not show on my account that I actually have this protection- so, I am a little confused there. Thankfully, in the year I have had the TV I have not had any issues that would necessitate the use of it.

To be honest i was a little dissapointment when i call the insurance for a complain about the tv i buy but they just work in the state even when they are in mexico. I just realize that they cant take care of me if im not in the state

Ok picture quality. Owned a little over a year, television is jumping in and out of inputs. Overall an average viewing experience.

I bought my TV and I wanted to make sure I will have it for at least 2 years.

It's good to know my tv will be covered for 2 years at a reasonable cost

Worst service experience I’ve ever had. They were difficult to contact to arrange for service on a new TV, 2 calls and 30 minutes of wait time to arrange appointment two weeks out. On day of appointment, they were no show, and I had to call them, again suffering 40 minutes waiting on 3 calls, to learn that they had gone to the wrong address, and were sending a tech late. Tech diagnosed new TV needed a new motherboard, that they would order, and contact me to install once in. A week later I got a text that they would show up a week later, (I was not given a choice of date or time, nor any way to reschedule this appointment). On day of appointment, tech was no show again, and I spent over an hour on 3 calls to have them tell me again that the tech went to the same wrong address again, and that the tech wouldn’t talk to me because he did not even have the part! I’m now told that the will special order the part and come out again in a week. All this time the new TV has been basically unusable. I’m sorry but I can’t say anything good about the Geek Squad service, except that one supervisor tech has been nice enough to be honest about the tech not having the part, and getting involved to “special order”, (guess they couldn’t do that the first time?). They have been a massive FAIL, and I would NOT recommend them.
