Trash; doesn’t cover accidental damage so beware if that’s the main reason for adding it

I have it but hope to not need this. We consumers don’t know but it is wise to have warranties.

I’ve had this one (1) day and I’m returning. I own about 15 smart TVs and this is my third tv purchase this year. Perhaps I just got a lemon, but guys delivered the TV, hung it and noticed a crack. They exchange it at BB and was back in about 45 minutes. The TV will not let me download any apps. The home button didn’t work and when watching Direct TV, it would switch to another channel. This happened repeatedly. I’m giving it a 3 because I’m assuming it was my unlucky day and I just got a lemon. I’m going to go with a different make and model.

It was a no brainer getting the Geek Squad Protection plan. It was simple, straightforward and covers the cost of replacement for 5 years. Cannot do much better than that

Tv is a good size and bright colors. Could have better audio so I purchased a soundbar to compensate for that.

Bought this TV for my daughter, who just graduated from college and needed a TV set for her new apartment. This is a great TV set, especially considering its reasonable price!

Excellent tv. Couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend LG TVs.

I didn’t have to use it but it was a piece of mind knowing that I had that option.

I had purchased a tv a few years ago. The customer service rep who scheduled the original ticket, was great. The tech that came out was unprofessional, didn't show up on time, didn't call before showing up the first time, and wasn't able to fix the tv because they didn't have the parts. They changed wires out and left. I left the country on business and when I came back my tv was still exhibiting the same behavior. It was past the 30 days for a "redo" but the customer service rep I spoke to on the second call said that my geek squad protection has expired and they would fix it but it would cost me a couple hundred dollars. I explained that the first attempt to fix it was a failure. They told me that the notes specified that there was audio but no video. And what I was describing was a different problem. I explained the issue wasn't that the behavior was different and a new problem hadn't surfaced, but simply the tech didn't fix my tv and did a poor job of taking notes. After hanging up and calling back I got a helpful rep. They scheduled a redo. The tech didn't show up. I then called again. Again had to cycle through reps to get a helpful one. They apologized and scheduled a new appointment . The tech comes out, does a software update on the tv, and leaves. Problem persists... The tech says he will schedule a repair. I called and asked when they would show up with parts to fix the tv. They said they had no appointment scheduled. I asked them to schedule the repair and to order the parts that were mentioned in the notes. The next appointment was also a no show because they didn't have the parts ordered. They rescheduled that appointment and now my tv works great!

After we purchased our last TV, we were lucky it took a powder within 30 days, otherwise we would have been out $1000! We bought GS, my in laws used it, saved them too!

It was nice to have, but I didn't need to use it. Perhaps my tv knew I had Geek Squad.
