This 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection is highly recommended. Always get it on everything I can from Best Buy. Just in case. They pretty much always come through if we have had issues with items that are covered.

If you don't like manufacturers' warranties, best buy has a great price ... it's better since you can make an appointment and the technicians go to your house to check what is the problem with your device ... very good investment

When I purchased a new computer for myself, I also bought one for my mom, who lives 700 miles away. I purchased the geek squad access for our computers, and when my mom has needed some help, I don't have to try to talk her through it over the phone - she can take her computer to her local best buy!
