I purchased the protection plan primarily because I was using the tv outside. No issues thus far, but the plan is renewable as well which is a great perk.

Looks like it is worth the $ to get it. I usually don't go for extended warrantees but this was too good to pass up.

Really like the fact that they'll come to your house to fix and issues. Don't like that fact that during the first year the have to abided by the vendors decisions.

Great tv. Everything works as expected. Sound is good but i personally had to add a sound bar for more sound.

Always recommend getting the protection plan if you get something that expensive or something you care about

In my experience things can always go wrong when it comes to electronics. Purchasing the 2-year Geek Squad protection will given you an ease of mind.

I have not had to use this yet but it is nice to have just in case.

The fact that your tv model will be discontinued within a year and that this covers dead pixels, any 3, is well worth the investment as much as I watch tv.

Best Buy's Geek Squad is the greatest protection and repair service around. Let the pros do what they do best and if they can't fix it, they will replace it!
