I have not had a need to use the Geek Squad Warranty. i wish i had purchased for my previous TV though. That one had issues around year 4.

I added this protection plan from the Geek Squad to my TV purchase. If my TV has any problems after the manufacture warrantee expires, Best Buy will fix or replace it for free if you have their additional 2 year protection warrantee .

GeekSquad protection is excellent. If you have any problems they will take care of the items you purchased under the plan.

I'm hoping it is good but havent had a reason to use it yet
