    The Geek Squad protection is a must, especially if you buy a lot of technology like I do. It’s a small investment versus replacing a washer, large appliance or expensive item from Best Buy. The Geek Squad was super helpful when I needed someone to help me install my 65-inch TV. It’s a smart investment.

    I added the Geek Squad 5-Year Protection Plan when I bought my new TV, and I’m really glad I did. A year in, the screen started flickering out of nowhere. One call to Geek Squad, and they had someone scheduled to check it out right away. No stress, no back-and-forth. They ended up replacing the TV without any hassle. The whole process was smooth, and they actually stood by what they promised. It gave me real peace of mind knowing I didn’t have to eat the cost of a big purchase if something went wrong.

    These warranties are one of the reasons i always shop at bestbuy. Piece of mind until you need it. Service is aways good with bestbuy.

    Although we ended up not needing Geek Squad to mount the new TV we bought from Best Buy, I wanted to share some appreciation for the tech who initially came out to do the job. He was extremely friendly and knowledgable, and gave me a really valuable recommendation on the type of screen size that was right for our living room. I ended up exhanging the original TV I bought for a different TV, which turned out to be a much better fit for the room — just as he predicted. Really appreciated his insight and am planning to use Geek Squad in the future.

    The 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection Plan is absolutely worth it. It provides excellent coverage and fast, hassle-free service when something goes wrong. Geek Squad staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and quick to help. Knowing my product is protected for years gives me total peace of mind. Highly recommended!

    Overall great tv. Great picture, functionality, apps. The ONLY complaint I have is that the tv will start messing up communication from the remote and move erratically, leading to being unable to get to the setting to reset tv, forcing you to unplug the tv to reset it. Which is pretty annoying but other than that we absolutely love the tv!

    I could go both ways with geek squad. I have taken in laptops with starting/power issues. Because they happen to start once while the unit is there its fine. Not always. I have had a tech come to my house to repair a tv. The TV didn't work when they came, and worked when they left. But, certain features were never the same or non existant. The tech pulled my control board, looked at it and then the replacement. Apparently the numbers didn't match because he held it in position and had to check that all the connections were the same. The TV just wasn't the same afterwards. Slower, and the picture quality was not the same. I really believe that the replacement board was for a lesser model of the same TV. As far as the warranty that I always purchase on big electronics, I couldn't be happier except when sub standard parts are used. They did end up replacing that tv though. The screen finally went bad and hisense doesn't offer replacement screens. Or didnt at that time.

    Best Buy really stands behind there customers I have purchase every tv from them. I purchase 50" 2021 model Hisense couple years ago with a 5 year protection plan. Some time ago my tv failed. I call Hisense file claim after 2 weeks i never got a call back from them i was outrage by there lousy customer service! So i reach out to Best Buy explain the situration within 2 weeks Best Buy replace my 50" tv with 55" Hisense at no cost to me. Just week ago again the new replacement Hisense tv again failed. I called up Best Buy and spoke to Chris manager at corporate his first question was, have you pick out a new replacement? Yes i choose 2023 model Roku Plus Series and it was $100 more then my original tv cost he said no problem no cost to you and we will come out next week remove the failed one and install with the new tv you choose. This exactly why i buy all my tvs from Best Buy. There customer service is outstanding and they really do take care of there customers and back up there products especialy now theses days where most customer services is at new low. Thxs Best Buy for taking care of me. Your the best!
