    I ordered TV online told my wife to pick it up at Tacoma, Wa best buy order number: BBY01-806230967350 I told her that it was an open box that was the description given prior to purchase. Our thoughts was its in the "openbox" and it'll be ok transporting in our rav4 laying down but we were wrong. While my wife was picking up the TV the employee's were laughing at her because it couldn't fit in our car. The manager noticed and offered to get the TV delivered with installation. When the TV got delivered I was present at this moment this geek squad guy said that my wall stud were more apart than usual which was weird to me. While they were unwrapping the geek squad guy told me not to take off the tape around the edge of the TV until I get it installed on the wall. The TV didn't get installed because of what he stated, he told me also that I should purchase a different mount for my TV because the one I got was too small for my stud. Few weeks came by (I was out of country for work trying to helped this pandemic issues) and I decided to measure this wall stud and this geek squad guy is probably wrong about the stud being too far apart and yes he was wrong. While taking the TV edge tape I realize there was a crack with hole on the side of the TV (see pictures). Do y'all realize now that I've played like a fool?

    The Geek Squad protection is one of the best if you have an issue with your product you just taken in no questions asked exchange for a new product.

    Geek Squad it the Best Buy for your Bucks

    These guys are top notch and would recommend any customer who buys a new TV to buy the Geek Squad Warranty. They were very helpful in explaining the operating system of my 86 inch Lg Tv. Noland made some changes in my hookups to make the system easier to use. Made some adjustments to the picture quality and explained what he was doing so I would understand why he made the changes. Made changes so I could just use my Dish remote instead of using 3 remotes for the TV, Receiver, Dvd and streaming. Don't hesitate to buy the Geek Squad, its worth it for sure. Happy Viewing.

    I have not had to use this yet, so can't really say how it works. Glad to not have any issues requiring the extra protection. 5 stars for ease of purchase.

    So glad I paid for this. Our TV stopped turning on after about a year and half of use. Since I got this service they are coming to make sure that it can’t be fixed and if it can’t it’s getting replaced for free! Can’t beat that!

    I will tell you right now I always recommend a five-year warranty when you buy a TV especially if you're a type of smart buyer that doesn't constantly buy like some Enthusiast or fomo having person. I

    Have'nt had problems with TV. Its only a month since i purchased it, but like the peace of mind knowing that if there's a problem i can call the Geek Squad. Bought a two year extended warranty.

    Insurance, not Protection

    The Geek squad protection had to be activated for my Samsung 55" inch TV after 3 years. Plus side: I was able to get the value for the TV to trade in for another TV. Minus: once you have to 'activate' your Geek squad for the trade in you lose it. I think it could be argued that if the Geek Squad concurs that your TV can't be fixed and needs to be replaced after 3 years, why shouldn't I still have two years of Geek Squad Protection left? So I guess it's not so much 'protection' as 'insurance,' but def. better than having to buy a new TV flat out.

    All I can say is one word. Phenomenal! Geek squad workers get the job done and are very courteous. They solved my problem in a fast, diligent, and timely manner. The questions I asked and the answers I got were very well satisfied to me. Best Buy has a customer for life. Geek squad members are a credit to their profession. Kudos and 5 stars to the Geek squad.

    I have always purchased the Geek Squad protection plans for large purchases. Thankfully I have only had to use it a couple of time, sure glad that I had it. Some people don't care to or say not purchase. I personally always feel better when I do.

    Bought this for my teenage daughter, as she watches either Netflix or Hulu exclusively and is well-versed with the Roku box on our family TV. Pros: Easy setup, although you must go through the laborious process of activating and authenticating across all of your subscribed services (not a fault of the TV). Picture and sound quality are more than acceptable. Picture is better than on our famous-name bedroom TV, which we bought for 10x the price a few short years ago. Cons: Just one, so far. Someone else gave this a single star rating because they could not activate the star (*) option on streaming services to customize the picture settings. I too had this problem, until I added a device (PS3) to an HDMI input and found that I could bring up the option menu on this new input. I then went back to streaming and was pleased to see that the * option now works! Apparently Insignia is not aware of this. I opted for the 2-year service option for around $30, as I have some concerns about long-term performance. Very happy for now.
