They are so good installing the product and they know what they are doing

Hoping I never have to use it but got it for peace of mind for my LG OLED

After having a large tv fail in less than 2 years and having purchased such a program prior to this purchase I would not buy a tv without an extended warranty! And this time added a power surge addition!!

I bought the 5 year protection as my last Insignia stopped working in the 4th year, which was disappointing. If this happens the same way with the new TV within 5 years, I would expect BEST BUY to replace it . Ideally it would continue to work longer, but if it doesn’t, I will not be left holding the bag with nothing.

I am loyal to Samsung TVs never had an issue until this tv made a pop noise and went out. The motherboard was out of stock since this size is no longer sold and BB Geek Squad replaced it. I like the Geek Squad but had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment and another week for an ordered part that was cancelled just to replace the unit. I will not be purchasing the warranty on the new unit due to this, as I have additional insurance for all electronics in my home. Do better Geek Squad!

I'll be concise and to the point. My Vizio TV started failing just shy of a few weeks before the geek squad protection was going to expire. I filed a claim to make sure it could be repaired before the warranty period was up. Aside of some road-bumps in communication internally (Seriously best buy guys, your left hand should really know what your right hand is doing) they ultimately determined that due to short staffing during the pandemic, service was not available. As such, I was provided a full refund (via best buy in store credit) toward the purchase of a new TV. Let me repeat that: 2 years after I bought it, I was fully refunded because the product failed, and was able to buy a new TV. I will NEVER purchase another electronic here WITHOUT getting this protection.

I have not had the necessity to use the coverage for any of the devices bought with the Geek Squad Protection.

I believe the Geek Squad protection should start at the end of the original manufacturers warranty, not immediately. The way this one works, we are only getting one year instead of two years (the one I purchased). Not happy about that at all. During the original warranty, the manufacturer should send someone out to repair your TV.

So we got this after debating several monitor choices for our new PC, and I'm so glad I decided to grab this. It's great for gaming, okay for office work, incredible for watching shows and movies. It's only 42 inches, which is small for me for movies, but the quality is out of this world. I usually go for soundbars/speakers right away but I found the built in speakers to be manageable for now. Love it!

I always buy protection plans from best buy on major items. One of the things that I appreciate is that as a best buy program member, my account is on file, so I never have to keep receipts. And I've found customer service at best buy to always be amazing. In many years shopping here, I've used the protection plan once. Funny thing is that it was on a portable cd player almost 2 decades ago. I had left the player in my car and let the batteries corrode. I didn't even know I had purchased a protection plan. Then 1 day I get an email from best buy letting me know that my protection plan was ending (and I think asking if I wanted to get a new plan). I went to my car, found the cd player and brought it back. They didn't even make those anymore at that time, so I was able to get a stereo instead. Lol. That was so long ago, I'm not sure if they even would do that anymore. But, it made me a loyal customer! And also convinced me to always buy the protection!

The geek squad protecrion was a very good buy being that my items usually hv slite problems not all the time some times

I hope to never need this service, but if I do, it is nice to know that I don't have to haul the TV in for service, it will be repaired in my own home!

The geek squad plan is amazing if they cannot fix your item they will replace it.

This TV has the greatest picture and really sounds great - even when you turn the volume up high. It was very easy to mount on the wall.
