    Geek squad protection plan

    I had the 5 year protection plan on my GX 77” oled and had issues with the tv. Geek squad tried a repair which didn’t work so they replaced the tv with a new G3 77” oled. I would recommend this plan (which I got again on this tv)

    Good people but not easy to get in touch

    The agents who actually came in to help were good at what they did and were reasonable and good to talk to and help me with my problems. The only problem i have with them is getting in touch with them was way too time consuming. I had to call 2 different hotlines which took over 3 hours to get in touch with an actual human being then eventually was told to call another hotline I gave up and scheduled an appointment online which after another 3 hours of waiting finally got me in touch with someone who could help me. Again the service is great, but it might take you an entire day just to get the help.

    Great fast service from the Geek Squad

    I was able to get my tv delivered the next day. It was soo fast. They delivered it for free. Someone from the Geek Squad contacted me right away in the morning. I was there first delivery. It only took them 15-20 minutes to get to my house. When they got here. They asked me where I would like it. They placed the tv where I wanted it. Then they were gone it was quick and painless. I would for sure recommend the Geek Squad.

    Equipment or Appliance extended is my warm blanket of security. Anything goes wrong...Best Buy will make it right. Geek Squad always helpful...being an older person it's nice that while I don't know much the individual(s) behind the GEEK desk have always been patient. Warm blanket & Kindness...doesn't get much better than that! :)

    Bought it for my Sony which probably I won’t be using due the Sony brand is an excellent one. But due to so many power outages where I live, I choose to play safe with my Sony. I previously gad for an LG and used once, and it’s a very good warranty.

    The Geek Squad gives you all the reassurance you need with a new product that IF anything goes wrong, you're covered. Samsung has a good warranty but with the Geek Squad behind you the worries are gone.

    After spending over a grand on a 55 inch Sony Oled tv, the 5 year protection is a MUST HAVE for added peace of mind. This gives you an additional 4 years after the 1 year manufacturer's warranty expires. To me, this was a "no brainer" and since the TV was on sale with 900 dollars off the MSRP, the 5 year plan even cost me less.

    Not really certain how to review this since I haven't had to use it? Honestly I don't know why but for some reason I'm not uncomfortable at all knowing that a squad of geeks are at the ready to aid me in my time of need. Thanks Geek Squad your the coolest!!

    I purchased this along with a 50 inch LG 4K TV. We got the TV as a replacement for one that ceased to work. Fortunately, we had purchased the Geek Squad Protection plan on our previous TV as well. Best Buy took care of everything, they shipped our old TV to their repair shop and once they determined it was not repairable, they gave me the replacement value of the TV covered under the plan. It was a no brainer to purchase this plan on the new TV. Highly recommended!

    Persistence makes perfect

    They had to come several times to fix the problem with a controller and could have done a better job with education on use of item but overall they performed well on fixing my problem. THe third visit technician was very knowledgeable and permanently fixed the difficulty with the remote controller and there was no extra charge for the last two visit. If you use them don’t be afraid to call them back if not working perfect.

    I always get my Best Buy items covered with Geek Squad. However, the turn around to have something repaired needs be improved upon. I have an 82 QLED, that failed on my on the 11th month of the manufacturer warranty. So I'm at the mercy of Samsung throwing parts at it and Geek Squad scheduling appointments until the issue is resolved. By the time the techs come back out to my house it will be two months of waiting.
