    Listen, I won't buy anything electronic without some assurance I'm going to have an exit strategy for when it goes kaput. Geek Squad by far has the best plan in the industry and has saved me from having to shell out major dollars more times than I can count on one hand. Its always straight-forward. You call, tech comes out and assesses the issue. They fix it or replace it... PERIOD!

    Love this tv. It was bought to replace an older model. Apps work great. Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi. The tv picture from Sony always looks great. Didn’t adjust anything out of the box. Very satisfied

    My sister bought this tv and she bought a protection plan, she had no probloms with the tv but one time when she needed help they helped her with no hasstle

    Peace of mind with this Geek Squad protection. Would not want to have to pay more for in home repair for time and $$ to ship it somewhere.

    I urge everyone to consider an extended warranty thru Geek Squad. I recently had to make a claim on my 60" and since they didn't make my particular model any longer, they replaced it with a 65" yaaaa!

    Have to buy new service agreement when TV replaced

    After we finally reached the Geek Squad, things went well. We couldn't reach them by phone, but finally did online. Despite spending a long time in our home trying, they couldn't fix our 65" Samsung TV. We had lost the right side of the picture. When they left, we had no picture at all. We had purchased the 5 year service agreement and lost the picture after 2.5 years. it was replaced with a comparable TV, but we were upset that we had to buy a new service agreement, with no credit left for 2.5 years, & that was $170!

    Some times it is better to to on the safe side. I have had several people I know have trouble with the T V they purchase and since this was an open box item ( evidently purchased and used to watch the super bowl and then returned based on the active account I discovered on the T V ) I wanted to play it safe and went with the warranty . SO thst if some difficulty does happen I should be in good hands for repair or replacement.

    We bought this for our previous TV. It failed just a few months before the protection expired. I called the Geek Squad, described the issue and he told me it was not repairable and I could exchange at the store. We bought a more expensive TV and only had to pay the difference. Very smooth and easy transaction. And very much worth buying on expensive items.

    This is the second time I’ve purchased the extra coverage. It’s well worth it! My last TV quit working and it was a very simple process to get it exchanged. I received back my purchase price as a store credit to use on my new (better) TV.

    Can’t go wrong with this coverage.Even a minor repair would likely far exceed the cost of the coverage. Based on knowledge and professional activity installing the television, I am confident that any repair would go seamlessly (hopefully this will be moot)

    Get an insurance

    I decided to buy this insurance because the first TV that I bought get damage and start giving problem after 2 months, because it was on guarantee I was able to return it back . I decided to buy another brand that I have been using all my life and wanted to made sure that the problem will not be repeated on this one

    We bought a TV with the five year Geek Squad warranty almost five years ago. It developed white spots on the screen. We contacted Best Buy and they determined that it wasn't economical to repair and allowed us the full purchase price toward a new TV. It took a few weeks due to the virus problems but the entire procedure went smoothly. Naturally, we bought the five year protection on the new TV.

    Always buy the warranty. Bought it for an LG we used to have and glad I did cus that tv took a dump on me. Best Buy made it easy to replace

    Very easy to communicate with when I had questions regarding a tv I purchased a few years ago. They were nice and friendly and offered me good advice when trying to figure out how to expand my tv’s storage.
