bought 65" insignia 4k tv in july - hdmi ports (all 3) failed in mid november - purchased 4 year geek squad svc contract - contacted geek squad service - 4 separate chat sessions, and 1 telephone call later, they have yet to have the repair person come to my home to put a new motherboard in my tv - it is not even scheduled!! on the telephone call this morning, their rep said they did not even have a repair person in this area (syracuse, ny), to service tv's. they took my money for the contract but can't even provide the service!! buyers beware of this tactic - service is not part of their dna!!!

This insurance is awesome. Twice I've had to replace televisions with this insurance and they were completely covered.

If you need help getting it to your house they will bring it and hook it up if you need them to.The protection plan is my favorite part of the geek squad.

They helped me find out the Fubo is incompatible with my TV..they actually got me in touch with the manufacturer.

Great to have peace and mind you are covered after the factory warranty has expired .BestBuy has great customer service on replacement plans.

It’s a must to have the Geek Squad protect and repair any of your items! It’s definitely worth it!

Great way to have protection for a tv with kids running around

i got the 2 year standard greek squad protection plan for my 55 inc smart tv by mistake I meant to get the 5 year standard protection plan. Which I feel would be a good deal because I had another tv without the 5 year year plan and the main frame on it went bad and I tried to put it in the shop and they wanted $300 to fix it. Where now having the plan if anything goes wrong they will fix it.

This was a great deal included in new tv/soundbar purchase.

Geek squad is a great option to add on your electronics. I use them for years already and always works for me. The good thing is after 3 or 4 years if it breaks they will give you the store card and you just get back on again with new toy.

I feel that the geek squad is better than any warranty. Just contact them and your issue is handled quickly.

The squad delivered my new tv and removed my old tv. They adjusted all the settings and most importantly showed me how to make adjustments.
