With 7 y/o and 9 y/o sons in the house and sketchy City Public Service power kicking off and on all the time I wasn't going to take a chance. I decided to buy the five year warranty because of the TV was cheaper by buying it on Black Friday so it was well worth paying extra five years for this TV. I think I made a very good decision.
