Glad to have bought this coverage and service with the tv

It is a stress relief to know that the TV is covered for 5 years.

I have purchased my last four televisions from Best Buy because of the geek squad protection. The very first time I had an issue they replaced my TV. No questions asked.

I think that the person I was speaking with on the phone was very hard to understand so I called back again and I reached someone that spoke more clearly.They did take care of my problem so I would rate it's a four out of fiveonly because it was hard to understand the person and it took too much time to talk to someone because they tried to get you to talk to the computer untill you tell the computer many times (You need to speak to someone). So everything else is great except for those two issues.

The first unit I had developed an audio problem where audio would drop out or become very distorted on TV speakers, external audio or earphones. Tried several troubleshooting techniques but no luck. Called Best Buy as I had Geek Squad Protection and they decided to send a new unit to replace it. The call took over an hour after being transferred to five different reps. Why not have one phone number that handles protection plans, thus minus one star for that and audio problem on review. The replacement arrived promptly and I set up the new TV. The picture is class leading! HDR and gaming are flawless. At 120 hz refresh rate there is no lag in signal. The audio still has a delay issue when using external audio system. I have 120hz HDMI cables. I’ll look into my setup to be sure it’s not my configuration. The Sony interface could have been more streamlined as there are three buttons on remote to bring up various menus and some are redundant. The software has extensive methods to change TV settings. I’m hoping for future firmware updates to resolve minor issues. For QD OLED I wouldn’t consider another brand coming from an LG OLED TV.

Getting a hold of someone to help is a chore. Within a month of buying our new TV set it started acting up. When you call for assistance you’re calling out if the country. I don’t care about that , it’s just that when you can’t understand the person you’re taking to and your request to be transferred to The USA and get ignored, that’s frustrating . I believe the person on the other end is trying to help but then refusing my request is disrespectful . I went to the Best Buy near me and they would not take a service request, they said I had to call it in.

The protection made us feel much better about transporting the TV home.

I had to leave the laptop with the above sihce of the drivers which handles the brightness went down as well new laptop got hit with it. The geek squad were excellent and they not seen this before but they reinstalled windows on both and the ultra brigh They htness was taken care of. They are a great team .

Great deal to cover my LG OLED. Super nice to know that if my OLED get burn in, it'll be covered.

I had trouble with my last tv--thank goodness I had Geek Squad protections. They came out and fixed it at no cost. I was glad I did it!

Always purchase the extended warranty with any new TV
