It is always good to get this on more expensive items, look a TV, but not sure it is as essential for under $100 items.

I always purchase the extended warranty with all my products at Best Buy. Geek Squad are alway professional, prompt and very knowledgeable when dealing with the issues I have had with my products. However the best thing about the warranty is the procedure for replacing repair or just providing you with an in store credit for replacement at the cost you paid for the product if they do not have a comparable replacement.

I opted for an extra two years of protection and I've read great reviews from other customers that used these guys. Definitely add protection to any electric device, it will give you peace of mind just in case something went wrong.

For any expensive device that you purchase, it is worth the cost of extended protection when something goes wrong because without that added protection it can cost you as much as you paid for the device and more to get it repaired. For me, it was a 55-inch television. I am sorry, but I can't afford to pay that kind of money just to repair whatever has gone wrong, and if they can't repair the problem, they will replace the television, but only if you have the Best Buy extended warranty.

As I said in previous reviews, I am lucky enough to have not needed to use this coverage yet, but I am happy to have it there should I need to utilize it in the future. Geek squad is very knowledgeable and competent in knowing how to fix the problem. Should you need to use them for any issues that arise, I highly recommend getting the extra coverage whether you're purchasing a product for yourself or under your Best Buy business account. Purchased 5 year warranty for an open box TCL TV R646. They were professional and helpful when advising on the 5 year warranty. I have no issues with tv so far but good to know I have that extra warranty/coverage in case anything happens.

I mean, havent had to use it yet. But have confidence that there is some coverage for 100" tv. Price was reasonable (because tv price was reasonable too)

Fortunately have only had to use the geek squad service a handful of times, but when I do they were quick to act and was a very pleasant and easy experience.

Its great to know that I am covered even further than the manufactured warranty.

My LED panel went completely blank causing a black screen just 15 month's after purchase (3 month's after manufacturers warranty) Luckily I paid for the Geek Squad Protection Plan and I've NEVER EVER EVERRRR experienced such kind, knowledgeable, positive and prompt resolution. Being I called in on a Saturday afternoon I assumed I'd have to wait for any resolution until the upcoming week. My BRAND NEW TV will be here today. The following Tuesday of my initial Saturday call.
