The extended warranty is always a good idea especially when you are dealing with expensive electronics which is all of them, I always get the extended warranty and it has saved me several times, I've had many items that have stood the test of time but with any mass produced products there are always a few issues, most of them are fine but if I end up with a flawed iten the extended warranty means I don't need to worry.

There is a large central white halo in the middle of the TV screen. I only found out about this AFTER mounting it unfortunately (having adhered to all instructions and precautions very carefully). I am a healthcare worker and have to travel for work a lot so by the time I got back home, unpackaged it and set up the wall mount, it was on day 16th from delivery date (past the 15 day return policy. Very unfair). Extremely disappointed at Sony products. Do NOT buy.

We had a crack in our TV and Best Buy replaced it the next day! We had our brand new TV set up and running for thanksgiving football! Thankful for the Best Buy annd geek squads awesome customer service!

Have no reason to use them yet. But I’m sure if and when I need their service they will be well knowledgeable

My sole purpose for shopping Best Buy is The Geek Squad. They are Amazing. I am computer illiterate, When I bought my first laptop, an assistant went above and beyond to see that I got the best laptop at the best price for my needs. A few weeks later he was promoted to Geek Squad. Now I call I ask for him, he takes the time to explain whatever it is i need to know. His name is Teo, hes at the Selingsgrove Pa. Store.
