The picture and sound are great (5 stars for those) but setup was a nightmare!! That began with a lack of clarity on how to install the two legs. I’m a retired science teacher with a BSEE from a prestigious school and also have an MBA and MEd. Plus I’ve written two novels. I had to call Sony support for help with setup since it was stuck on wanting the password for a neighbor’s WIFI even though I connected my Ethernet LAN cable. I’m good reading manuals but this one is terrible and essentially useless. Using the operating system is also horrendous!! Amazon Fire and ROKU are much simpler. Plus I’ll probably have to call Sony support again since I’ve switched my cable TV and ROKU (still using that for a while) inputs from my initial set up but can’t figure out how to change the input labels and some other associated input settings. No patience for any of this complicated nonsense and who knows what other troubles I’ll have to deal with as I learn how to use the OS. Oh well, the modern world. I still remember the time in the early 1980s when most people in the US were unable to figure out how to program VCRs. That was child-like compared to this stuff.

I don't know why people don't buy this. I didn't have problems with my television until 28 months after I purchased my television. After calling for support for both of my television and sound bar, which they sent someone out 3 times to see if they could simply repair my television and sound bar. (Which they couldn't) They ended up (free of charge) replacing my television and because they no longer carried my sound bar they upgraded me to the newest version of that brand, as well as offering me the ability to get the extended warranty for the new sound bar. Except for when I purchase something for someone else, I always purchase the extended warranty.

I've used this insurance in the past! The way stuff is made now a days, this is a good safe bet!

Bought this Hisense 43" A6G a few weeks ago. Overall, it is a really good television and great value for the price. I have another Hisense television in the family room that I am very happy with which is why I bought this one. It was very simple to set up and get going (the interface with Google really sped things up). The apps work exactly as they should. I use Amazon Prime, HBO Max, YouTube and Netflix. Other apps are very easy to download. The A6 does not disappoint with its picture quality. This TV replaced an older 1080P TV, and there is significant improvement in the quality of the video and the sound. The audio is crisp, and the sound is full (it doesn’t sound “tinny” like other flat screen TVs). For a TV that was around $300, this is a great deal. Value wise I highly recommend. I could have spent twice or much as much for a higher-end TV, but the Hisense is a great product for the money.

Always get the extra protection. You never know when things might not work.

I think five years is better if you add it to your buying plan.

Bought for my grandson's room. It was smaller then I thought it would be. But for a 4 year old we made it do.

5 year warranty from geek squad. Would recommend with any purchase of electronics.

Haven't had to use their services but its good to know it is there if needed
