    I originally purchased an open box item with the Geek Squad protection only to find the excellent condition was not even close with the screen of my television suffering severe damage. After trying to deal with the Geek Squad over the phone and being very frustrated with what I am assuming is an India based phone center, I gave up and took my issue directly to my local Best Buy store where it took some time, but I was eventually told I could receive a replacement television since the damage could not be repaired. Within 24 hours, the Geek Squad came to my home, removed the old TV, installed the new one and was in an out in under 30 minutes. If it weren't for having to deal with an unhelpful call center the rating would be higher, but since I have a local Best Buy to work with, the protection was definitely worth it.

    I purchased this 5yr extended warranty because my last tv crapped out after 3 1/2 yrs. I also had the extended warranty on that tv. Geek Squad was unable to repair the tv so they replaced it with a brand new comparable model. They made everything simple, installed the new tv and removed the old one. I would highly recommend purchasing the extended warranty for any high end model tv. One year standard warranty isnt enough.

    I had a 5 year Geek Squad warranty on my Samsung tv which was a good thing since it quit after 4 years. Best Buy sent a Geek out to my house to check it out and he determined that It was best to replace it. So they gave me a number to call and it was fairly easy for them to exchange it. Just be aware that what they replace it with might not be as good as your tv. They gave me a model that was horrible so I had to go to the store and check them out to see which one I liked. The sales guy helped us and we chose a different brand and went home and called the number and they replaced it over the phone and now will deliver it and exchange the other one. So definitely get the warranty. It's so worth it.

    I have been a long-time customer. My tablet was damaged I opened the package and dropped it, screen cracked and the service I received went so smoothly. I glad I had ins. coverage, but your geek squad took care of my purchase. I give them a 4-star rating because there's always room for improvement. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with the service provided to me. Sorry, I did not take pictures before and after of my tablet. Sircierly. MR CALVILLO

    OK , got the 5 year service plan for TV, not sure if it is worth it for a TV like other products, was told if any problems I could swap out Tv and even upgrade, Tv had an issue took it in and then told no, they have to try to repair it first so had to take the Tv back and then call and set up service, takes about a week, they made a repair did not fix it, had to wait another week to try again, still not fixed so waiting on another week, what got me was the reasons they gave for the problem with the Tv,just didn't pan out, like after not quite two years of reception, it must be my antenna, while my other Tv's still got reception, then this Tv's tuner must not be as good as the cheaper models of the same brand that were getting reception but it was like anything but the Tv, I felt like they aren't going to let me get another Tv if there is any other possible reason besides the Tv, so now it is on me to figure out otherwise !" I" finally figured out or narrowed it down that it wasn't the tuner or my antenna because I got my signal back and narrowed it down to a USB problem that it seems no one can understand, so happy I got it to work again but my Tv still doesn't function as it should, could be a firmware problem but bottom line, I paid for all the functions and EXTRA for a SERVICE that wasn't worth the frustration and time that I have had to deal with, that $80-$90 could have been spent on a new TV and the time spent watching it, sorry !

    I am so grateful that I got this 5-year Best Buy geek squad because my TV started faltering after about 4 and 1/2 years and I called Best Buy and they replaced it immediately with a better TV

    The Geek Squad agent I had at my house when my old tv died was so nice, really knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. He answered all my questions about my old tv and more. When there was no hope for the mother board since the tv was 10 years old, he broke the news to me gently and did not try to sell me anything new. Then, of course, I wanted to hear about new tvs! The Geek Squad agent told me what he recommended and I was then really excited to go out to Best Buy and get a new tv since the prices have really come down in the last 10 years. I hate to buy anything unless I need it, so the Geek Squad agent explained all of my options before he would fix my old tv. It was obvious that the motto was "The King is Dead...Long Live the King" as in - the old one had to go and I had to buy a new tv. My purchase experience at Best Buy for the new tv was also really terrific. I did not feel rushed, the agents at the store, like the one who did my home visit, were professional, really patient and super knowledgeable. Thank you, Best Buy! Really appreciate you in the Tech World explaining things to me since I would not have known anything about old or new tvs w/o your Geek Squad agents. They are really well-trained and helpful.
