My LG C1 died on me, it was just 3 years old. For that purchase I thought I didn't need a protection plan. Never again for expensive TVs. I got the plan for my new TV. Better safe than having to buy new TV.

Make no mistake bout it...U Need 2 get it..we had a Lg HG, for3 yrs. Squad came to work on it, within a few minutes, after he left, had 2 call him back, 4 same thing. After 45 mins, he couldn't repair it. Went next day, got a brand new Lg..cost? 0. 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection If you do not buy the 5-year standard Geek Squad protection plan for any TV that you would buy then you might as well not purchase a TV because you are just working against yourself in the long run when you could upgrade to a better TV and just pay the difference especially if your TV does not work properly or geek-squad cannot fix it. Best Buy's replacement plan is by far the best warranty ever provided by any electronics store and cannot be compared because they have helped me for the past 10 years because the devices that I would buy in truth always turned out to be those odd devices that they either don't have on the Shelf anymore or I have too many times where they came and fixed it but something always went wrong with it within five years so get that protection plan and Best Buy will take care of you they have taking care of me they will for you

Used mine on a floor Model tv Turns out it had an issue that rebooted it every 30 min. Was totally worth it

The Geek Squad got the Bravia 75" UHD TV up the stairs to my 600 sq ft loft area with no problems and put things together with no problems. I had the TV for about a week with no problems except for setting up and installing apps. Hardware wise the clock has started and we'll see where things go from this point...

This is good it’s like insurance for any appliances or technology you buy it’s to protect it in case of damage spills or something going wrong. It covers for the repairs and make it new again that’s so cool and helpful.

I always worry about my products going bad, thanks to Geek Squad protection plan I don't have to worry about a thing. I can enjoy my television knowing that if anything goes wrong Geek Squad will have my back.

Answer all concern questions I was concerned of how I was gonna get the TV up and they informed me that they do that and it didn’t cost that much. I also gave when it came and did it thanks geek squad.

Love the geek squad protection! It offers a full protection package and in my opinion it is better than the TotalTech. If you're buying a big ticket item like a TV or any appliance, ask the customer service to cancel your TotalTech from this item and add the geek squad warranty instead. Your TV installation will still be covered because of your active TotalTech. What I don't like about TotalTech is that you have to pay a deductible on certain things... this is like an insurance now...

I ordered TV online told my wife to pick it up at Tacoma, Wa best buy order number: BBY01-806230967350 I told her that it was an open box that was the description given prior to purchase. Our thoughts was its in the "openbox" and it'll be ok transporting in our rav4 laying down but we were wrong. While my wife was picking up the TV the employee's were laughing at her because it couldn't fit in our car. The manager noticed and offered to get the TV delivered with installation. When the TV got delivered I was present at this moment this geek squad guy said that my wall stud were more apart than usual which was weird to me. While they were unwrapping the geek squad guy told me not to take off the tape around the edge of the TV until I get it installed on the wall. The TV didn't get installed because of what he stated, he told me also that I should purchase a different mount for my TV because the one I got was too small for my stud. Few weeks came by (I was out of country for work trying to helped this pandemic issues) and I decided to measure this wall stud and this geek squad guy is probably wrong about the stud being too far apart and yes he was wrong. While taking the TV edge tape I realize there was a crack with hole on the side of the TV (see pictures). Do y'all realize now that I've played like a fool?

The Squad really went out their way to make sure I was able to use my GS Warranty to the fullest.. They made sure I was able to purchase a replacement TV after my original wouldn't stay powered on.. They gave me great suggestions on different TV's to purchase with the amount I was given on my store credit..
