I always try to purchase geek squad protection for all my big purchase at best buy and they have not failed me. and it gives me peace of mind knowing my items will be fixed or replaced if anything were to happen.

Renewed prodection plan for a return of an older lg television that went bad for a new samsung 4k television. Got the 5 year protection plan for about $90. Will keep my television protected for the next 5 years and am happy about it. Great price for a $450 television. Would recommend highly to anyone.

Always a good idea to get when you are purchasing open box items or electronics for kids.

Should have bought the 5 year warranty. TV took spike a couple months after warranty ran out.

this first time they took care of me no issues but the secomd time geek squad lied so I will no longer be giving them or best buy my money ever again

Sometimes you just can't trust the product quality today and I couldn't for the TV I purchased but it is rated as one of the best TVs at its price point with some caveats should you be one of the unlucky ones who gets a lemon. Best Buy extended warranties are however more expensive than the competition.

Fortunately I have not had to use this particular purchase but have used it on two previous TVs purchased from Best Buy and it was simple and trouble free.

What I love about geek squad protection is that Best Buy has it for everyone and everything on new and open boxes and it has the same protection, and they can fix it on the store and I don’t need to ship anything! Thankyou

This service contract is well worth it. If anything goes wrong they will come fix it or replace

I had the Geek Squad protection for several years and only had to call on them 2-3 times. They were efficient and straightened out the issues over the phone and through my computer. It was nice to have someone who knew how to fix the issues without having to take my computer to the store.
