In this day and age with smart tv’s, it pays to warranty your tv. Go max years as shelf life is maybe 8-10yrs.

So I bought the warranty for my 40 inch TCL on October of 2023. I called in cause I had a ghost image and I couldn't get any thing for local channels to work on this Tv and I tried 4 of them. So I called in and they said I had to bring it in or they could charge me to send repair out for service. I had a warranty that said you would never be charged?? So I just had shoulder surgery in May. It didn't go well and now in 2 weeks I am about to have my second surgery on my shoulder. I am older in my 60S. I brought the Tv in and the gentle said I wasn't supposed to bring it in. I would have to take it home and they would charge me. I have a warranty. I told my problem. Then he said he would check if they could replace it for me. Then he came back and said he would have to send it out for repair and it would be more than 2 weeks. I am having surgery and really need to have my Tv. I have always made Best Buy my first stop with TVs. I am going to replace my Tv in living room soon. But I am disappointed that not if I get my Tv I won't be able to install on wall with one arm. Just very disappointed with the overall process. I was hoping for a better outcome.

I always get warranty on big purchases. Best Buy makes it easy to fix, repair, or replace my products. This gives me confidence that my TV will be covered until 2021.
