I purchased the 2-year Standard Geek Squad Protection for the Pioneer - 50" Class LED 4K UHD Smart Xumo TV that I bought as a gift for my son's birthday.

I always try to get the protection plan for all my important devices. Last time I use customer service was very nice.

I always buy the five year Geek Squad protection because Best Buy honors it. Totally worth it.

Your utility from this service is going to vary greatly depending on the products and services you purchase, The amount of time you are OK with devoting to setting up your own devices, and your level of technical competence and education. For me, this service is not something I would use most of the time - BUT - for certain product categories like OLED displays, the peace of mind is worth the extra cost, knowing I can exchange the display for a replacement if it burns in or has another failure during the warranty period. Overall, it really depends on your personal needs, but this service definitely has its place, and can be a real value depending on your situation.

Great idea to protect your investment just incase a accident

expensive for the item bought, I dont know why they want me to write at least 5o words, when 5 did it, so I had to write this extra meaninless information to meet their quota!

Hopefully I'll never need the protection but you never know.

Peace of mind insurance. I hope to never have to use it. If I do I hope they deliver as promised. Rating is based on future promises. Seemed realistically positive.

Buy the Geek Squad 5-year warranty for your electronic purchases. Unfortunately I needed support and guidance for filing a claim for warranty. BB and the GS helped me through the claim flawlessly. Definitely worth the price for the warranty!
