my tv was 40 days old and the hdmi ports burned out , made a call and got a repair person out the next week

For all my tvs over 40 inches, I always invest in a warranty. So far the warranty has been a life saver. I love the fact that Geek squad will repair tv 40 inches and over in home. They will 1st troubleshoot with you. If problem still persist. They will order parts to your home. They will come and work on tv at home. If they can't fix tv, they will offer you another tv. If tv is not available, they will upgrade you to next available one.

I love to always get a Protection for the years cause you never know what will happen. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
