    Best Buy cancelled this plan without my permission - have spent hours on the phone with agent after agent and they cannot seem to get the plan reinstated. I am beyond disappointed as an extremely loyal Best Buy customer. At this stage, I will buy local from now on. Best Buy has lost the personal touch and I would actually rate this a ZERO Star experience.

    Extended Warranty Staff are just HORRIBLE!

    Call center staff such as Alfredo, Employee ID#A435331, were always very rude and abrupt. I was repeatedly disconnected from their calling system. The "we will call you back" feature often disconnected upon call back. I will NEVER purchase another extended warranty from Best Buy and recommend going with the manufacturer extended warranty.

    The plan looks great and since fridges don't last as long as they use to , I thought it would be a good idea to get it. Just hope I don't need to use it!

    Ice maker is way too small

    The refrigerator itself works well, holds a lot, and looks great. The ice maker, though, is ridiculously small. We run out every single day, and there are only 4 of us.

    I have been waiting over two weeks for a refrigerator repair. The tech said he needed a thermistor and a fan for repair. Guru Electronics after multiple calls finally let me know that parts are back-ordered from their distributors. I found the parts on-line in less than 10 minutes. Still no repair but hopeful that the Geek Squad will allow purchase outside normal lines of purchase. NOT HAPPY. PS. Cannot call the local store - directed to wait forever with the national call number.

    I had a appointment scheduled for 9/28/20 between 12 and 5. I received a call from RTA around 2pm asking me to describe the noise my refrigerator was making and where it was coming from. I explained that there are several different sounds and that I wasn't sure where they were coming from. I was told at that point technician would not be coming. Called Geek Squad and was rescheduled with RTA even tho I specially ask not to be. I paid for this service it wasn't free.

    I never get extended warranty. Manufacture warranty doesn't cover replacement of contents, only the freezer. I put $600.0 of meat in there. Best buy warranty covers contents. Since this is a cheaply made product, I got the warranty. By the way, BestBuy advertises it as 3 years, but it is really only two as the first year runs concurrent with the Manufacture's Warranty.

    Purchased refrigerator new. Gaskets failed in less than 24 months. Have both Total Tech and Geek Squad protection. Geek Squad was almost $500 and was supposed to be never pay for parts and labor and failures from normal wear and tear, we'll repair it or replace your product. So when I called to get the gaskets replaced under warranty I'm told there will be a $128.08 charge because the gaskets tearing and leaking aren't covered by the manufacturer, Geek Squad for almost $500 or Total Tech for $200. TIn my opinion this is total misrepresentation and failure to disclose all the Geek Squad warranty protection escape clauses Best Buy uses.

    Why did i pay full price for this piece of equipment? Extended warranty was the only saving grace. i missed out on the class action law suit.

    Convenient for Best Buy Horrid for Customer

    Requested a repair for my refrigerator and received an authorization for an exchange . After calling 6 to 7 people to get the answer needed , the catch is it I have to bring it in the store myself for the exchange, which I don’t have the means to do so this is a 9.2 cubic refrigerator. This is not a little fridge. Horrid service make no sense to customers but convenient to Best Buy.
