    I am so happy I purchased the Geek Squad Protection plan for my fridge as my refrigerator broke down right right when COVID-19 started. Since the technician was not able to enter my home and given my refrigerator had broken down before BestBuy exchanged it for a bigger model. The model I got was actually bigger which was actually pretty nice of them. The representative I spoke with was actually really helpful and nice.

    Freezer delivery/exchange

    Some damage with the first freezer that was delivered. BB processed a new unit without any hassles. Delivery guys did a great job of getting the freezer into my basement and setting it up.

    It is more spacious than our previous refrigerator. The doors have plenty of space for condiments and bottles of wine. The media hub is perfect for listening to music while you cook, and adding our own photos was a nice touch.

    Haven’t had any issues yet with the product I purchased the warranty for. But have just used a warranty for a laptop I bought a couple years ago. Son dropped my laptop and damaged it. Brought it in with one month left on geek squad warranty. No questions asked. They took it in and said 4 to 6 weeks, I dropped it off Saturday afternoon and got it back Thursday shipped to my House

    With so much technology in todays units the five year warranty is a very wise choice. You will be glad you have should an issue arise.

    I think the geek squad protection, over all is a pretty good thing to have. Especially if the product can't be fixed they will replace. On large appliances though.. All I can say is maybe aske before you buy "who" they contract with in your local area for repairs. Our local area, the rouge Valley in Oregon, not a whole lot of options, and the people they did send out, HORRIBLE!! I had to call for my washer. He couldn't figure out the problem, and then, ordered the wrong parts, twice!! Best buy , finally replaced it with a new one. Kind of a buyer beware kind of thing. My interaction was a while ago.. So no idea as to how good they are now. They contract out large appliance repair.

    I love this freezer!!!! Standup is the way to go, this thing has so much room, it’s sleek and great visually and I couldn’t be happier. I may get a second one.

    Worth getting warranty

    Already had to use the warranty on relatively new Fridge/freezer because I was not getting any ice. Unfortunately, they did not send a Geeksquad person but a third party who said I had to get a new replacement. Ism glad I called the manufacturer who sent a person and they replaced the mother board.

    LG 29.5 cu ft. Geek Squad Warranty

    Geek Squad Warranty is worth its weight in Gold. Our warranty had 3 days left. Sinc the Compressor went out & they were unable to repair or replace the Compressor . They gave us a Brand New 2021 LG 29.5 cu. ft. Knock Knock Refrigerator at NO COST to us. It was Hassle Free It took less than a week. Great Service.

    When bringing broken or damaged merchandise back to the store the first question is " Did you get the service plan?" If you did not, you will receive an address and phone number to the manufacturer. If you have a service plan, the store will help you.

    I have not needed it yet. Let’s hope Best Buy sticks to their end of the bargain. I did contact the manufacturer for a replacement part, and they were super prompt. Fingers crossed

    I am really impressed with the service plan I purchased for the upright freezer. So far I haven’t had to use it but peace of mind knowing that it is covered
