    Geek Squad protection is well worth the expense works. Have used it in the past with great success. Had to have the oven door replaced crew was clean, quick, and polite.

    Save your Money Back Ordered Parts

    Replacement parts on back order with no est. in-stock date. I purchased an expensive refrigerator that the ice maker quit working on it. Called for service and they promptly sent someone out. Rep told me they were ordering a new ice maker and that it would come directly to me and to call in again once I received it. A day or two after the rep left the fridge stopped cooling so all of my food is spoiling. Yes, they have a food replacement claim form but that is for $200 MAX overall. I have teenage kids we go through that in a week! So I called back in for service on the cooling of my fridge and to my surprise I was told they WILL NOT send anyone else out until my part comes in and they install it. So I ask what is the estimated delivery time for my part and I am told that they don't have one because its on back order. So at this moment I have a 3k fridge in my kitchen with an expensive Geek Squad warranty that was supposed to protect my investment. But what is happening is that every time I call the best-buy warranty service and wait an hour and a half to speak to the first person(that is not an exaggeration) each rep tells me that the previous rep processed my claim wrong and that they are doing it right and I will have another company come out to fix this because this is a major break down. Only for me to wait and receive my scheduling email and see that I am again booked for the same warranty company A&E and they never show up because they wont come out until the ice maker has been shipped to me. I have remained hopeful that this will be resolved professionally but with how my claim is being bungled I don't know. FYI for those buying these plans they tell you that if the product breaks down and they can't fix it they will replace the product. THAT IS NOT THE TRUTH. Thats what I was told so I purchased the product only to learn now that I need help that "your warranty doesn't have that option" WHAT?!?! I purchased the only warranty available to me and purchased it based on that statement. Long story short, store workers don't know much about the warranty info. They are telling you what ever they need to to sell a warranty and get a pat on the head from the manager.

    Haven't had to use it but good to know there is one in place in case of any troubles. Wasn't too expensive and love that they offered a plan!

    Have had the fridge for over two months now and has been great. Have water connected with filter and the water feature is great. Also a plus is the ice maker.

    Used the Geek Squad twice for a dehumidifier. On both occasions, the service was prompt and seamless. Will definitely the service/repair warranty by Geek Squad

    I always get the 5 year warranty. For some reason my stuff always dies about 3 years and a month in and the 3 years warranty is done. Best Buy always has the best service people. It may take a while for them to get to you but they are great!

    Strange. These warranties use to be SUPER expensive. Then they went far down in price, now back in the middle. But, if a shelf breaks on the fridge, and you cant use the shelf, they say it's "cosmetic" and wont replace. they say thats why the prices are "cheaper" for warranty. Huh? you can't use it. Be aware as in the they use they "covers everything from accidents to more" but its not totally true. That was disappointing. At sears, their warranties are in fact still more expensive, but when a shelf broke i called up and one was on the way free. I miss that. But, since my fridge is so expensive, you are better off with a warranty than without.

    I truly enjoy the 5 year Geek Squad protection as it makes it so much easier if there's a problem with the product that I've bought from Best Buy. I always buy protection for this reason.

    Love how easy to clean and spacious shelfs. Only rhing i dont like is the slow ice dispenser and small capacity. Keeps food cold and plenty of room
