I purchased the geek squad plan for my freezer because the plan covers food upt to $300 and damage due to power outages which is what ruined the my old freezer.

Haven't had to use this yet, but it gives me peace of mind to know that if anything goes wrong, it's covered.

I never buy warranties but a few years back I got a Samsung side by side refrigerator and it fried 2 months after the factory warranty expired. The Geek Squad warranty saved me $1,100. Now I get the warranty for anything over $500

I have been a long time Best Buy customer, all my electronics are from there and now a major appliance. The Best Buy protection plan has provided ease of mind that a failed unit is quickly repaired or replaced. They help every step along the way without unexpected loopholes. One word "Dependable"!!

I was looking at other places to buy appliances, and Best Buy seemed to have the best value for their warranties. I like that you don't have to pay for a service fee, it too is covered.

Geek Squad has never steered me wrong, they are so worth it especially if you are doing things thru out the house like hanging TVs, Computer troubleshooting and even things for your car. Worth looking into for their great services

I am so glad I bought the Geek Squad Protection plan. My LG side by side refrigerator went out after 30 months and they completely replaced the product.

I typically don't worry about extended warranties as items are being built with longevity in mind. Of course, that's not so with electronics, (built in obsolescence).
