    Bought the store brand Insignia 20.5 cu ft fridge in stainless steel and within a year the shelves started breaking. Spent 3 days attempting to remedy situation through extended 5 year warranty purchased. Was told damage is difficult to prove or disprove and that an appt to have a technician come out to my house would be necessary to determine if shelf was indeed broken and whether it could be fixed or needed replaced. I had brought the broken Insignia refrigerator shelf in to the store with me. I asked if he was saying the only course of action I had was to take the broken shelf back to my house, try to reinstall it and then schedule an appt with a tech to come to my house to make the determination that it was broken and he said that my understanding was correct. He said it was corporate policy which he had no hand in creating but must abide by . I asked where the "fix it" techs work out of. He said the stores but there was no way for customers or fellow employees to contact them when in store and directed me to contact their main 'help" line. Since I had already spent 2 days trying to get help through the online chat function which led me to be told to bring the shelf into a store to get service only to be told by this Geek Squad employee that their helpline employees were incorrect and now on day 3 of trying to get a workable fridge main shelf I needed to go call the helpline again. I told him I was reluctant to do so as I was already 3 days in and the helpline had sent me to him and he was trying to send me back. I asked for contact information so I could discuss my experience and how their corporate policy effected me and he again gave me the help line telephone number and said that there were no addresses or emails that customers could access or be given, that it was corporate policy that he had no control over because he just worked there. Why even bother? With poor quality products and poor design backed up by the Geek Squad who refuses service and employees who simply can't or won't be autonomous or attempt to actually remedy a situation, why even bother? Spend your money elsewhere, somewhere you and your money is valued and appreciated.

    Anytime you can get extended coverage you hope you don’t need it but you have that piece of mind that should something go wrong, you have help that knows what they are doing. I’ve used them in the past and they have been life savers. Highly recommend spending the little extra money so you sleep at night worry free as we all know anything can and will go wrong these days completely out of our control.

    The printer is awesome, I had trouble with the ink dispensing and when I try printing pages, they were blank. After calling Epson and talking to a technician, the ink finally dispensed.

    I ordered this just a few weeks ago and I’m so happy I did. I love the soft close and I have kids that like to leave the fridge open and the beeping sound alerts them to close the door. That’s one less thing for me to fuss about lol. It’s so brings and the water and ice machine is perfect. I recommend this.

    I have been very pleased with customer service at Best Buy, along with the happiness of my new refrigerator and microwave. Once paid off I’m coming back to buy a new stove!

    one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. installer tried to remove water line from refrigerator before shutting the water off, then told me I needed a plumber to install because a pipe was leaking. I created an account just to make this review. I would advise anyone I know not to order from Best Buy. Picture of 'leaking pipe" attached

    Called Geek Squad the day of my delivery because the refrigerator began making loud noises. Geek squad helped me connect with the people who could assist me. Long story short, Best Buy replaced my refrigerator within the 10 day return window and all has been good for 7 weeks:-)

    i personally advise anyone buying a major appliance to get the geek protection plan because you never know when you will need it and having this plan can save you thousands

    I tried to use the phone contact but this was the most frustrating hour I have ever spent on the phone. In the end he sent me to a web site that was supposed to guide me thru the easy fix/. Needless to say it was in tech speak and I had no idea what they were talking about. I finally had to make appointment with a tech to come out to fix the problem. That I understood.
