We got the extended warranty on our 2 refrigerators because the ice makers always seems to go out before the refrigerator. We have learned this through years of experience. It pays for itself.

Only got this because it was the maximum year amount that could be purchased for the refrigerator. Not sure why it was limited to 3 yrs. Have not tried service yet but I hope to never use it.

Got the extended warranty protection and am happy I did. The price is affordable and I know it'll cover what I need it to cover. I've had good experience with Geek squad in the past.

Bought this for my fridge. Have had issues with my fridge from the 1st month. Since whirlpool never did anything on their end to fix my issue I called Geek squad and got a tech to come check my product. The tech came out and said the fridge showed everything normal but he clearly sees what the issue is. Never heard again from them and have not bein able to get my issue repaired or replaced.

Sadly, even high-quality major appliances are not built to last like they used to. The geek squad protection plan is worth every penny.

Honestly, most of the refrigerators out there do not get good reviews on the ice makers, so buy the 5 year protection was a no-brainer. For what we paid for this unit, i'm confident that we would come out ahead if there were ever an issue.

This is my second year with Geek Squad Protection. I am enjoying the service. At the beginning I thought the money I paid for three years protection is a waste. But that is not the case, the service I am enjoying since last year is worth the money paid.

samsung fridge very skeptical of product if i have problems i know best but will fix it

My warranty was deleted some how during the exchange process. But, after a few hours, Best Buy rectified the issue. They serviced my fridge and it’s like new. No issues, thereafter.

We always purchase the extended warranties with any major purchase. The Geek Squad was a savior when we purchased our Sansung refrigerator several years ago due to ice maker.

Best Buy geek squad protection is the best warranty and a must for any purchase. They replace faulty products or replace it no questions ask. Better than manufacturers warranty.

I purchase the extended protection plan, hoping to not to use it but if I need it I know it will be there for me.

The geek squad person was able to resolve my refrigerator problem immediately and was able to detect the other issues with the new refrigerator and resolved it. if your buying a product from bestbuy, then buy geek squad protection too..very reliable
