Be careful, the BB Protection Plans run concurrently with the manufacturer's. So when I purchased a 3 year plan, I assumed it would extend the manufacturer's plan of year by 3 more, so four year total. That is what I was also told by two different sales people. But no, it runs concurrently, so I actually payed for 3 additional years but am only getting 2, since by the terms of the agreement BB will submit warranty claims first to the manufacturer.

Have not used the services yet. Very good customer service so far!

We purchased a $3000 Geek Squad Protection Plan for a refrigerator. When our $3000 refrigerator failed after less than a year of use, BestBuy tried to decline service in lieu of recommending the manufacturer's warranty. I indicated I would file a small claims case, and they found an appointment for me. BestBuy was unable to fix the fridge on the first visit, indicating they would be back in a week to finish the work. However, a few hours before the appointment, the service technician called to indicate that all the parts had not arrived. He didn't know when they would arrive. (Incidentally, they shipped them to me without notifying me.) I called support and was told the parts were estimated to arrive in a month. While I had taken time off work to meet the tech, BestBuy knew the appointment would not be honored without notifying me. BestBuy also expected a family of five to go without a working fridge for 6 weeks. I asked for a replacement fridge. They declined. The Geek Squad protection was a waste of money and time.

YES, sometimes I like to save money, but sometimes I want to have a peace of mind and get the best warranty/Geek-Squad protection for my investment. And this is why I choose "5-year Standard Geek Squad Protection ." THANKS GUYs

We purchased this warranty in case something happens with the freezer and we were to lose the food that is stored in there. Great value for what it covers!

I ordered a 5cu freezer. The delivery men were very polite and professional. They put it where I wanted it and set itxup.

Geek squad service is a mist qoth them. Always comes through and always going above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Completely satisifed.

The workers were on time and did a great job. We were satisfied. We love the service where they haul away your old one.

Have not had to use the warranty yet so I cannot comment on how well it would respond to a claim. I will say that the price for the 5 year warranty was $200. A 5 year warranty from Sears for the same refrigerator was $580.

It is worth every penny you spend on it. Things just do not last the way they used to. When things break down they either fix it or replace it. What could be better than that

The delivery/installation people were great. They hooked up the ice maker and levelled the refrigerator.

This seems like a good warranty. We bought it because so many refrigerators with built in icemakers/dispensers have problems down the road and Best Buy warranties only cost about half compared to bloated competitors.

Wouldn't be with out this. Have had it for 7 years and happy with the knowledge and professional support of the employees

I’ve purchased geek squad with nearly every product I buy from Bestbuy. Though manufacturers warranty is there, it’s usually limited. I suggest geeks squad with your purchase

heard good things about Geeksquat in the past. I didn't really try them until I owned my own appliances. Glad I have them. they are responsive. you called them, they come to see you the next day and solve the problem. Highly recommended.

Paid for the service, but technician had to refer to out side agents to install water line. They did a good job can’t complain

I am very pleased with the geek squad protection plan. I’m happy to know that my product is covered under warranty and there’s nothing I have to worry about if I run into any issues.

I have purchased and used the GSP plans in the past and have not been disappointed when it came time to receive service. I fully expect to have the same experience with this purchase.
