I bought this for a freezer and haven't needed it yet, but in the past have had prompt competent courteous service at all times.

You absolutely need to have a warranty on any appliance. Not that the quality or brand is bad, but that extra peace of mind is crucial

Scheduling is easy. Service times are reasonable and technicians are competent. One appliance was replaced with a new unit in a very reasonable time frame.

Good protection at a good value. Will probably never need it, but it's there if I ever do have a repair.

Geek Squad. What can you say. Just the most convenient and knowledgable way to protect everything you purchase at Best Buy, and with complete confidence.

Bought the extended warranty. Haven’t used it but trust it will be there if I do.

Works great! Perfect second midsize fridge for my family

We have been without a correctly functioning fridge for 4 months now. No one in customer service seems to care that there is no solution in sight. One service tech has already 'repaired' the issue and a week later the same problem was back. NUMEROUS service techs have no-called/no-showed or cancelled last minute appointments with us. Today, customer service informed me they would love to reschedule the tech visit (from today, 8/5 that was a no-show), but they can't because there are no available appointment options. It is ridiculous to expect your customer to go 4+ months without a functioning fridge with NO END in sight. Do better, geek squad.

Well I do like the fridge but not the break down and I guess that’s where the Geek Squad protection plan would help out so it’s better to have than not.

Haven’t really had the need to used this product since the fridge has perform well and has had no issues..

Have not had to us the Geek Squad for this product yet and hopefully won't. I have used them for computer issues and have been satisfied with their services. With all the tech in products today it's good to have some help available.
