3-Year Protection. Purchased with item. Good purchase.

With this plan and geek squad getting your back if something goes wrong, then its like nothing will go wrong. Get the protection plan it helps to have it.

After two product (refrigerators) failures I've spent a day or two trying to contact the Geek Squad. Many phone calls and waits. Ultimately, I've spoken with some wonderfully helpful and competent people and had a successful outcome.

Took this service for a piece of mind and haven’t used it and writing this review for points lol.

It's always nice to have the security of knowing your product is protected and that help is available.

GOOD PRICE ON WARRANTY AS LONG AS THEY ARE AROUND 5 YEARS FROM NOW WILL BE A GOOD DEAL

I can't recommend Geek Squad Warranties (or TotalTech) on large appliances. Their scheduling is a mess. First, they try setting up an appointment for a Geek Squad employee to come on Tuesday. They're supposed to call on Monday to set up a time window. They never called and never showed. So I called back on Wednesday and now they scheduled it with a third-party company. When I say "schedule", that just means Geek Squad sends them a request. The schedule is actually up to the other company, but they called to work out the real schedule. When the third party company arrives, they tell me they don't work with Geek Squad warranty. Geek Squad needs to send one of their own technicians, not from a third party company. When I call Geek Squad back and tell them the whole story, they just try scheduling with the third party company again. Round and round we go. Ask for a supervisor; sometimes that helps.

This protection plan gives me a peace of mind just in case something goes wrong.

Bought a refrigerator from best buy outlet. It was an open box but was said to be still functioning. After having it for 14 days we noticed everything in the freezer had defrosted. Temperature reading inside the fridge said the freezer was at 0 degrees Fahrenheit but in reality it was at 60 degrees when i put a temperature probe inside. Geek sqaud came out 4 days later to repair. They claimed the gasket on the freezer was not sealing correctly cause it to let heat in. They then “repaired” it and later that night it was still not freezing. Had to call them again and now have to wait another 2 days to have someone come out again.

Thank you so much for all your patience when we come in to purchase new tech. Great job Geek Squad!
