    Service Crap

    Do not buy anything at best buy that they do not have in stock, I have been waiting for this washing machine for 15 days and they have already canceled 3 times. They invent a thousand lies until they finally accept that they don't have it. They demand an appointment and no one informs you that they canceled it, but you check and the status says that you have to make a new appointment. The purchase is for July 4th, today they tell me that for the 17th, but that it is a better option for August 20th, because they will surely cancel it again. They say it's LG's fault. The two previous purchases were lost and now this. Best Buy's service is a real piece of crap. And don't try online support because it's worse, the service goes out and they cancel the chat because you don't answer.

    Worst Customer Experience

    I ordered this unit together with everything needed for the installation on Jan 11th. Best Buy confirmed the delivery for Monday the 25th. Sunday the 24th I got an automated message to confirm next day delivery and installation between 7am / 1pm. Monday morning (day of the installation) at 8am I receive an email asking me to schedule a date for the installation of the metal pipe needed to connect the unit to the gas line (!!). Call Best Buy and they say the order got split in two but they are going to resolve with the third party who is supposed to deliver and put the unit in. After a whole morning on the phone it is 1.39pm right now and I still don't know if the unit will be installed today or not.... Just to make everything even more aggravating at 1.28pm I received a "reminder" from Best Buy "reminding" me of my installation appointment today between 7am and 1pm!!!! So far the worst customer service experience ever.

    I usually order out of Mt. Juliet and it's amazing. This Brentwood store and their contractors are a joke. The contractor attempted to deliver my washer/dryer without even knocking on the door. Said delivery driver also ignored three straight phone call attempts with in 5 minutes of when he said he would be at my house. I attempted to reschedule for 07/25 and the Best Buy system glitched out and made my dryer disappear. I called the national line since it is impossible to speak to a person in a store and they assured me both washer and dryer will be there 07/25. Now the system says washer 07/25 and dryer 08/02 which was NOT what I was told. The staff at Mt. Juliet tried so hard to help me but said that the machines were with the Brentwood store and I WATCHED the MT. Juliet staff call the Brentwood store over 15 times and Brentwood would not answer their own sister store's phone! At this point if the dryer is not delivered with the washer on 07/25 then I am never purchasing from Best Buy again. Which sucks as an Elite member for almost ten years in a row now.

    ONE TIME PROTECTION

    In the past when you bought a 5 year protection plan, it was good for the full 5 years. Apparently that is not true, it is only good until you get service or replacement on a small appliance and then you have to purchase a new protection plan. They really shall call it "ONE TIME PROTECTION PLAN" good until the item dies up to 5 years.

That said, this is not how we wanted you to feel, so I apologize if our Geek Squad Protection Plan coverage wasn't fully explained to you at the time of purchase. On products such as appliances, TV's or computers we will make multiple attempts to repair the product under the plan. If we've made multiple repairs, and it's still having trouble, we would then replace the product. When the product is replaced that would be fulfilling your protection plan. When the plan is purchased it is intended to cover that particular unit, which means that the coverage would not roll over and cover the replacement device. If you would like the replacement to be covered you would need to purchase a new protection plan.     Don't waste your Money

    Don't waste your money. I have tried twice to get an appointment to repair my washer and both times it was cancelled by Best buy the same mooring of the appointment without any reason. They offer this service and just take the money without being available to do the repairs

    If I could give the service team zero stars - I absolutely would. I have been waiting a month for my washing machine to be fixed. We have the 3 year protection plan and was told that one of the parts is on back order so they have no way of being able to tell me when it will actually be fixed. I was also told that after 30 days a new unit would be brought out WHICH I then found to be completely false. Why even buy a protection plan if it doesn't do anything or cover anything?

    "RELOCATE SERVICE" ???

    THIS IS MY LAST ORDER FROM BEST BUY, THEY'RE CHARGE FOR "RELOCATE ITEM" AS DELIVERY MAN SAID, 59 USD PER UNIT. NO HEAD UP NOTIFICATION OR INFORM UP FRONT TILL DELIVERY GUYS SHOW UP AT DOOR AND ASK FOR THAT KIND OF MONEY. BEST BUY STARTING TO SCREW THEIR CUSTOMER, AGAIN I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY FROM NOW ON.

    WHAT A RIP OFF

    I've owned my washer for just over 4 years. It will not complete any cycle it just randomly ends mid cycle. I purchased Geek Squad protection, what a joke that's been. They've been out 3 times (so far) and can't figure it out what's wrong with it. They just keep ordering new parts that aren't fixing it. We've been without a washer for 3 weeks now and no idea when our washer will be fixed. Very frustrated by this. DO NOT BUY GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION. You'd be better off saving the money and reaching out to a local repair man.

    We had this washer less than a year when it started making horrible noises. I contacted the geek squad who promptly replied and came to assess the issue as it was still under manufacture warranty. It turns out the part is no longer available so I’m granted a complete replacement. I have the same exact washer a second time and have had so many issues with it not staying balanced despite doing smaller loads and making sure to evenly distribute clothes, forget bedding and blankets I have to take those to the laundry mat now. It will jump all over to the point we have to jump in it and turn it off. Whats the point in paying for something you can’t even use effectively?

    awful customer service/scheduling

    The appointment didn't actually get scheduled until weeks after it said it would happen during the ordering process. Then after it got installed, I saw a flame visible behind the vent inside the drum while it was running. The laundry room smelled of gas until I turned off the valve. The technician came back, and while the connections in the back of the unit were secure, he confirmed that if I saw a visible flame then something was faulty inside the unit and to send it back. I called Best Buy who told me on the phone that a replacement would be installed 3 days later, and then when I got the email confirmation it was over a week out. I will now have been waiting for over an entire month after ordering the appliance until it's actually installed in a hopefully working condition.

    DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY!! They hide the fact that this isn’t delivered with a power cord, the piece that you would always assume is included in an appliance purchase! When I called them the first time they claimed it’s missing that piece and to process a return but that I had to wait 24 hours from the date of delivery. I called back the next day and they told me nope, it doesn’t come with one and I have to go get that myself and install it on my own.

    Canceled warranty after repairing washer

    I have a Samsung washer that I bought the 5 year geek squad warranty. My washer machine has given me trouble 4 Separate times where a tech had to come out. The last 3 times for the Sam issue getting off balance, adding extra time, and making a noise. After this last time they went out geek squad canceled my remaining 2 years I have on the warranty telling me they have fulfilled thier end.

    Geek squad and call center not worth the cost

    I purchased this for my washer and dryer for a piece of mind since things don't last anymore. My washer has been broken twice and both times it took 2-3 weeks for them to have someone come out to look at it. It just broke again and now they don't have someone able to come out for over 21 days and they escalated and said they'd call back but no one has and I have been on this issue for 2 weeks with an escalated ticket and no service date. They don't have enough geek squad agents for large appliances soi I advise to save your money and avoid this head ache of a process to have them work on it.

    I am so done with Best Buy I purchased this washing machine as a new product I was assured by the salesman that my product would be delivered in its original box because Best Buy had delivered an open box item before when I paid for new He told me to refuse it if it isn’t in its original box. Again they try to deliver an open box When I called customer service they were rude about me demanding a in the box product I went to the store and was treated the same I ended up canceling the order The worst customer service ever!!!!!!!!

    Paid over $800 and washer went down in less than a year, replaced control panel. Now after 3 years it needs a new module that cost $500. If you want a device that lasts do not get samsung

    3 yr warranty

    I purchased the 3 year warranty for $350 for a new razor laptop. The laptop sreen started flickering only after 2 years of use. I took the computer in on 6/9/2020 to be fixed. The computer has been sitting in que since 6/20/2020 as of 07/14/2020. I called geek squad 3 times. No help or updates each time. Best buy simply wont help or get involved in anyway. Will never purchase any besybuy product again. Very very disppointed after I spent $2,440 for the computer, mouse and protection policy.

    POOR POOR POOR SERVICE

    Do not purchase a Geek Squad warranty, if you ever need you WILL NOT receive service in a timely fashion. I have had a service call that was scheduled for today and because someone entered an incorrect address my service call was cancelled with no reschedule, I had to find this out on my own. Once you do get a repairman get ready to wait more time while they ship you the parts, they do not come prepared for a fix. THIS IS A BIG BIG WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like to call this a racket. I WILL NOT PURCHASE ONE MORE ITEM FROM THEM PERIOD FULL STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Very Disappointed with Geek Squad service

    My refrigerator is not cooling from last three days and when I called geek squad service they gave me appointment after one week. Everywhere it’s mentioned geek squad service is 24/7 and that’s the reason I have purchased this service. But so disappointed now as they are telling 24/7 service is over the phone who can rectify appliances over the phone and it take 2 hours to connect to agent sometime even more on the call. Geek Squad should see the urgency of the request and provide the serve It’s so bad service I don’t recommend anyone for there service it’s all false statements they have mentioned
