    Cant really give a rating for this. I have not had to call for service yet. BUT, when I called the service number, the person ansering the phone answered my setup questions politely and patiently

    The protection plan from Geek Squad has been a blessing for all my appliances that need repair. Have always with their immediate response for any repairs.

    They are so helpful they know all the right answers and when you ask them a question they know right away with the right answer is I don’t have to go ask anyone else there really knowledgeable about everything no matter what products you buy from them and get the protection plan on it on the protection plan there’s no questions asked when somethings wrong they take care of you

    I like the geek squad service plan. It is well worth it, as I used it to fix my son’s computer( free of charge) by putting a new operating System, and have the hard drive replaced( paid the material). I also get discount on appliance install, disc on warrenty plan,& free haul away. I love it. My2d year of subscription.

    Both appliances are very easy to use. We bought them about 2 months ago and so far both are working wonderful. I bought the 5 yrs extended warranty as well just in case.

    Geek Squad Warranty For Washer/Dryer

    Why wouldn't I add 5 years of product protection on the backend of my manufacturer's warranty? I think a washer and dryer should work for a minimum of 10 years, so I will keep a warranty until that time comes.

    An updated warranty after a Gas Dryer replacement, a very nice thing for BestBuy to do. Their support is on point and I am glad to have the extra layer of product protection. I can vouch for BestBuy, they stand by their warranties.

    Bad Customer Service on Installation

    Wish installers had been better trained on Customer Service. It would have made the installation experience more pleasant. One instance installer kept telling me "No" including telling me not to ask so many questions, they had to get on to other jobs. I said in my business we never say "No" we try to make things work. His reply, "I wouldn't work for you."

    I’ve owned my washer for a couple years now. A discontinued Samsung front loader that was supposed to be top of the line. It’s a great washer when operational, but unfortunately, not working. Fixing it under factory warranty was great. But now that factory warranty is over, I’m faced with what is turning out to be the most impossible task to-date. Getting a tech out to fix my washer through the Geek Squad Protection plan. Countless time wasted on the phone scheduling appointments and listening to the service agents regurgitate the same prompt while informing me that “Your appointment has been cancelled because there is no tech available.” Constant time off work, or time blocked off from doing other daily chores while waiting for an appointment that will ultimately not show. Not only that, but I’m having to reach out to them to find out what’s going on with the appointment. This is a horrible experience and I’ve come to the conclusion that this service is a waste of time and money. Now I’m stuck waiting for someone to fix my inoperable washer with a household of five for two weeks! FYI, my appointment is now rescheduled for the third time. Just replace my washer at this point.

    Questions answered about new washer operation !

    The new washing machine was not operating as required. The geek squad offered to immediately replace the unit. I was able to get the unit to work properly after turning the operation knob back and forth and resetting it to "normal" operations and it works very well now. I called the Geek Squad and they nicely cancelled a replacement washer. No problem !!

    The Geek Squad Protection plan has always been a must-have. Computers tend to have issues and appliances breakdown so its best to be protected. I've used Best Buy protection plans in the past and have been satisfied. Don't buy an expensive appliance or other purchase without one.
