Never got to use this,but it was reassuring to have

I was 3 months from my 5 year Geek Squad warranty expiring when my Samsung washer had a major breakdown. Best Buy chose to replace the unit instead of fixing it. They reimbursed me the amount I paid for the original washer to purchase a replacement.

Please take my advice and purchase the available extended protection. I don’t normally purchase extended protection, however with all the technology today I thought it would be a good idea. My 3 year old washer developed an issue that couldn’t be repaired. Best Buy did a great job of assisting me with a replacement and covered all of the expenses except hoses and the new extended protection. I’m completely satisfied!

Exelet and a big washer and clean the clothes out so good

Unit cleans well and has many features.my only complaint is its custom program feature is only programable via the app.

Purchased the optional 5-yr extended warranty for my LG clothes dryer purchased in 11/2019. I have had to call Geek Squad for a non-functioning sensor drying issue 3 times! The third instance this February triggered their no-lemon policy clause which alerts them to automatically replace this for a new like unit or one of your choice. I ended up choosing a different brand dryer and again purchasing the extended warranty. This saved us from puchasing another dryer for approx. $900.

Very important to have this and Best Buy is the only place I have found that will put a warranty on an appliance that is being used at a business

People be sure to purchase extra warranty my washer went bad at 28 months has repaired went bad again they replaced it with new GE washer at similar price

Geek Squad is top tier. They handle any issues quickly and are very thorough. They also educate you on the product and services. Couldnt ask for better help.

Had to use Geek Squad the first week as one of the hampers came undone, causing the washing machine to be loud and the rubber seal to not be flushed. Geek Squad came out right away and immediately diagnosed and fixed the issue within the same hour!

This is not the first 5 year protection plan I have bought through Best Buy. I recommend the 5 year. It seems most appliances need repair between year 3 and year 5, so I do not recommend paying for 3 years or less. I have found by experience that the 5 years pays for itself since service calls are usually around the amount of the protection plan and that is just for someone to tell you what is wrong with your appliance.

they have backed me up since I got the warranty especially my dryer, Now I'm calling on my washer and we shall see how they do, I haven't really had any problems with best buy and their warranties geek squad has not failed me yet, so I can only give them good reviews,

Your appliance is only as good as the extended warranty, or "Cheese" that you buy. Most modern appliances die within five years. Generally the parts are scarce because they go through them, so hopefully you can return the damaged unit and get a new piece of junk for the same price.

I was told, " Your appliances are only as good as the "cheese" - the extended warranty plan. Didnt get up to 5 years, just 4.25. Was able to exchange washer for a new one. I downgraded to limit bells & whistles. We purchased parts to repair unit, which cost the same as the "cheese" because service took too long. Best Buy thinks its okay for customers to be without an appliance for up to 30 days. Its in the fine print.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HAVING THE 5 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY ON ANY APPLIANCES
