I have only called once. They didn't even need to come to my house. They walked me through how to fix the problem and stayed on the phone to make sure the problem was fixed.

The one thing that keeps bringing back to Best Buy is their Geek Squad Service. I’ve bought warranty service in other stores and no other store made my coverage as easy as Best Buy. Their customer service team are excellent. Now I only purchase all electronics from tv to computers to sound systems to appliances at Best Buy and so do all my family.

The service was excellent! The guys came removed and delivered my new washer. One of the gentlemen explained how it worked - it was great! I will continue to use this service in the future. Well worth it and a great experience.

I purchased a 5 year protection plan on my washer I purchased. It is replacing a maytag that the only thing wrong with it was the control board was defective. It went bad after a little more than a year. Because I have the washer in a business maytag would not honor the warranty, and in addition the control board needed was on indefinite backorder. If I had this protection plan on that washer, Best Buy honors the coverage no matter where it is installed, and if the part was unavailable they would replace the washer with a new one.

Perfect it gets my clothes clean and spins out all of the water

I am happy that I have this service in case anything happens to my dryer. That added protection makes me feel good about my purchase and gives me a piece of mind.

If considering buying paying the ovely high saleprices for it i strongly suggest purchasing a protection warranty

I haven't needed to use the 5-year protection plan yet, and hopefully I won't need to anytime soon. However, with the great value that I got at the Best Buy outlet, it was a no-brainer to go ahead and purchase the protection plan. For peace of mind, I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Brand new dryer leaks water all over my floor. Takes 3 hours to dry a load. My entire laundry room gets hot and steamy like a sauna. I am 100% sure that my vents are clear. This dryer came defective. Best Buy keeps telling me that I have to bring it back but they delivered it and i have no way to get a 300lb appliance back to the store. I ordered it online anyways.

Worth every cent. Now, I usually pass on extended warranty offers and such. But, Geek Squad is my exception. Not only because they are rock stars- I purchased a higher end Samsung washer dryer set (I am in love with) and they are literally rock stars. I haven’t had to use them but the peace of mind knowing that I can if I need to is awesome. Did I mention that they said it if at any time I need to have my washer dryer fixed I’ll just come and exchange them out for new ones? Yep-oh yeah

I've purchased these type of insurance before but with Best buy reading through some of the reviews sounds like they don't really care about the customers too much when they return it and worst condition after repairing whether it be stereo equipment. Sometimes I just if I buy a TV I go to Amazon and you could buy the insurance there a lot cheaper you don't have to buy the TV at Amazon to do so. Like asurion or Allstate

My old washer lasted over 20 years before finally dying. I fully expect my new one to have excellent longevity. The additional protection was 'just in case.'

So far so good hopefully they last me a long time illegals but Time will tell they're already better than my last washer and dryer thought I would try the front load so that I can put things on top of the washer and dryer

I purchased this extended protection to cover the purchase of my new washing machine. Had bought a new washer (different brand) from another retailer (big mistake) as it didn't last even 2 years before breaking down. So I decided to try another brand and not wanting to take any chances, I decided to purchase the 5 year protection plan. I hope to never have to need it, but it's comforting to know that it's there in the event of any problems. The cost of the plan is minimal compared to having to buy another new machine. Would recommend the extended coverage.

The agents installed my washer quickly. They tested the washer and removed all pavking material.

It is overall one of the needed and best protection against anything goes wrong with your washer. If your washer is defective, it goes wrong the first year and some may go wrong after 3 years. By the time, it hits 5 years, you got your investment return and usually it performs well beyond 5 years. Geek Squad Protection is great for the peace of mind.
