This is a must buy for appliances as i do not think quality of GE/Samsung/LG are the same anymore. My last washer started having issues at 3 years and this is worth every penny for peace of mind protection

I love my washing machine. it's kind of like a smart watching machine. you don't have to worry about small medium or large loads. As you put the clothes in, the machine puts in just enough water for the load so there's no overload there's no underload there's just a perfect match for the load you have. this machine is great

Based on reviews… which said that the LG washer and dryer that I bought are excellent but periodically they ship lemons, I decided to subscribe to the geek squad protection plan. I've never done this before but the reviews said that when the machines are lemons they're truly lemons and will need to be replaced over a period of time. But once you get them working they work very very well.So far so good. I haven't had to use the geek squad warranty so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm hoping my first washer and dryer ordered aren't lemons.

I shopped around so long for a dryer and could only afford a used one but for about the same price I got this brand new Insignia dryer and it's one of thebest purchases lve made. This was the first Insignia product is made what since then the dryer a TV and I'm very happy with the brand. I have 4 kids so it's always going and it's great

They are so helpful they know all the right answers and when you ask them a question they know right away with the right answer is I don’t have to go ask anyone else there really knowledgeable about everything no matter what products you buy from them and get the protection plan on it on the protection plan there’s no questions asked when somethings wrong they take care of you

Door wasnt closing properly and geek squad replaced it fast

We had a washer explode and then had to wait three weeks to get a new one even though we had this warranty. We kept getting the run around from Best Buy. Also when you get a new replacement item the protection plan is over even though it's supposed to be for five years.

I love the warranty because I'm covered when my washer and dryer breaks down.

12/7/21 purchased a washer and dryer at Pacific Sales which is a division of Best Buy. I was offered a service contract from Geek Squad which is also part of Best Buy which I purchased. In May 2023 I noticed a rattle during the spin cycle of the washer. While the machine was operating fine at that time, I contacted Best Buy to have service to avoid further damage and was advised the service contract was through AIG. Had I known the agreement was though AIG I would not have purchased as I have 40 years experience in the financial industry and am aware of AIG history. AIG sent someone out from Antech Appliance which has a 1.5 star rating on Yelp with the majority of the ratings based on their work for warranty companies and finding reasons not to cover claims. The service spent about 10 minutes looking at the machine and told me they would need to remove tub which would take 2 people so they would have to come back. A day or so later I received an email stating the claim was to be denied as "they stated they found the unit not working due to a foreign object(coin/pin rattling) between the tubs causing a noise issue and this is not considered normal wear and tear." Note that per the email they are making the assumption that the rattle is caused by a foreign object but they do not know what it is and cannot confirm it is in fact a foreign object. I filed a complaint with BBB but Best Buy stated they are standing behind AIG finding. I had requested a refund of the premium as the warranty was of no value and AIG denied the claim based on assumptions. Subsequently the machine has started to show Error Code when I run the clean cycle. Best Buy responded to the BBB that they had provided a pro rata refund and cancelled the contract. This was done at my request as my right and not in satisfaction of my claim. Best Buy used to stand behind their products but obviously no more. Do not buy from Best Buy but, if you do, do not purchase a service contract. Not worth anything. They employ sub standard repair companies.

Good product no issues. Dries clothes well no gas smell

5 year warranty on washer and dryer used once or twice on washer dryer before pays for itself if any problems do occur and in 5 years its likely

I like the geek squad service plan. It is well worth it, as I used it to fix my son’s computer( free of charge) by putting a new operating System, and have the hard drive replaced( paid the material). I also get discount on appliance install, disc on warrenty plan,& free haul away. I love it. My2d year of subscription.

They come fix any and evening ever wrong with the washer or dryer on the spot
