So, they sell the warranty plans well, I mean who wants their applianceappliances to break and have to either spend a few hundred dollars to replace them, or just spend a few hundred dollars to buy new ones so soon. Well my washing machine, which was a little over a year old breaks, Nov 4th, I have literally had a migraine dealing with this warranty program. There is no assistance for laundry services, or rental for you to have. I had to wait 5 days for a repair guy (who is not geek squad because if I wanted geek squad it would have been 2 weeks) just to come look at my machine, he takes 4 more days to order parts... fast forward the December, no parts still. No idea if they are coming, and this whole time I have been out a washing machine. I don't know about you. But I was clothes daily (family of 4 with busy kids). I've had to make calls myself only to sit on hold for over a half hour to be transferred, and then still be told there is nothing they can do. See you have to wait 30 days (not from when you called, no because that would make sense, 30 days from when someone ordered a part) before they will even consider just replacing your machine (which they claim they will do in their sale... "we fix or or you get a new one") so you would thinknatvthe 30 days, which is closer to 6 weeks now, boom new machine... nope, now you move up to special forces, and then they have to submit a claim... which they tell you can take 3-5 business days for them to respond to.... So, if you opt for this, my suggestion is go to rent a center and get whatever appliance to save yourself the hassle, it will cost you, but it's cheaper than the laundromat (which I had to pay out of pocket for the last 6 weeks) oh and instill don't have a machine yet. Geek squad protection did well for a TV I bought and thats why I got it again. Hopefully when I need it again it will be helpful like the TV coverage.

this service is worth its weight in gold any issues a tech comes out and takes care of business

Washer and dryer are amazing so far, whole experience was great from ordering, delivery, setup and haul away my old set. Very happy with purchase.

Two glad we got the protection plan. We had to call them multiple times and spend hours on the phone with them but when my washer broke after only 3 years of having it they replaced if.

Haven't had to use this yet but I have had very good service with all problems or updates with products from Best Buy.

The extended coverage is well woth the money on high dollar purchases. Would recommend anyone buying a high ticket item to definitely get the coverage cause its paid for itself with one purchase.

I actually found the dryer a bit cheaper elsewhere, but the protection plan information was not up to date on the website. When I got the actual information, it was more expensive than Geek Squad. Since I have used Geek Squad for my computer for years, I trust them and now will buy all major appliances from Best Buy.

It's good to know we have the added protection if we need it. I had to use the Geek Squad once before on a separate purchase and there was no problem. The product was replaced. Easy.

Best decision to make when buying anything from Best Buy. My wife and I bought a television 2 years ago from Best Buy and the picture started flickering, and wouldn’t stop!! We was reimbursed our whole purchase price minus like $20,..

my previous washer stopped working and with this service, they replaced my old washer . I was very impressed with this coverage.

Hoping I won't have any need for it but got the protection plan because you never know what can happen and it was a good price point!

We purchased this coverage so we wouldn't have to worry about any potential problems we might incur with this unit. We haven't had to use it yet and hopefully won't need it but glad to have Best Buy standing behind it. We have had good luck with Geek Squad in the past.

I haven't had to use it yet on my latest buy. I have used it on a TV. They replaced it when it died.

This item first time problems i was call rightaway they exchange but second one is same problem didn't exchange bue they try to fix . I get scheduled.

Good price for the additional service for 5- years. Even I I won’t need to use it, it’s not wasting my money The installers did excellent job with the installation on washer/dryer
