    I used the free geek squad delivery because it was free!! I have a truck and I'm perfectly capable of loading unloading and setting up a washer and dryer but I was in the middle of moving so I figured one less thing I would have to move. appointment was set and they said they would call 30 minutes before arrival. the new house is only 10 minutes away so thats more than enough time. so morning of delivery they did call and say they were 30 minutes away. 18 minutes later I got a call from their dispatcher saying they were at the door and because I wasn't there they had a 30 minute courtesy wait time. from the time the first call came in to the time I arrived it was 28 minutes. (because I left when I got the first call, got half way to the new house and realized I left the keys at the old house so I had to turn around and go get them) within that 28 minutes my delivery guys left. I called at least a dozen times to reschedule and being that it was friday I was finally told that I would have to wait until monday to reschedule and then they weren't able to actually deliver them until wednesday. I know it's my fault for leaving the keys and running late but, between their "30 minutes before we arrive" and "30 minute grace period" thats an hour and I still made it in less then 30.. once they actually delevired them on wednesday it was quick prompt service and they turned them on to test them. even washed the owners manual for me and when he realized it took all the paperwork out and threw it on the ground in my driveway..

    Haven't had to use the warranty. But never had problem in the past. They usually stanby There warranties

    I have not had to use a BB extended warranty but it gives me piece of mind that if my washer breaks they will cover it. Let's hope I do not have to use it.

    Five year protection plan which we bought for our washer dryer! We always buy protection plans at Best Buy’s which is the best thing we’ve ever done!

    Don’t Bother! It’s a Rip Off!

    After having purchased an LG washer/dryer combo unit in November 2023 and taking delivery in January 2024, I called a few days ago when the unit was having a leak from the front door. I was told that I needed to contact LG because the unit was still under warranty with them. So I say what good is purchasing an extended warranty if Best Buy isn’t going to do anything when I call them other than say go to the manufacturer. I have been a Best Buy customer, purchasing all major appliances, entertainment equipment and computer, iPads, iPhones from them for the past 20+ years. I have almost always purchased protection plans on larger purchases. I have called for repair on appliances that were under warranty in the past and the Geek Squad was sent out to make repairs. That was what I expected now and did not receive. I am more than unhappy. I guess it’s the way the whole world is going, but it’s the final nail in the coffin of my purchasing Geek Sqaud Protection. Worthless! As was calling LG who wanted to merely diagnose my problem over a computer chat and have me do all of the work. That’s not a warranty!
